Alexandrea Harding is on the run from a killer. Alex had hopes of becoming a singing superstar until the death of her sister made her the target of a murdering drug lord. Now she is surviving day to day, trying to keep her remaining family alive. David McAdams built a multi-million dollar company from nothing but hard work and determination. He has no room in his life for complications, until at a party he hears Alex sing and he knows he has to have her. Having her will make his life a whole lot more complicated than he could ever imagine. With the killer closing in, can David convince the beautiful song bird that he is more than a pretty boy in a suit and that he has what it takes to keep her safe or will fear force Alex to run yet again?
Great writing, David was the perfect hero. Alex was strong without being stupid. Please read this book, you won't be disappointed. Now I have to find Jane and Dawn's story.
Alex has been on the run with her nephew and best friend for two years. During a singing gig in Atlanta David sees her and feels an immediate pull but Alex is afraid to stick around as the man after her is steps away. David is determined to be her hero. Good read, however editing errors abound. Writing and story telling is fine but please hire an editor. Also to the writer it is guest room not guess room.
Okay read some errors and a little theme issues. A more in depth explanation of David and Kane's story as well as the story of Alex, Dawn and Jordan. You are left wondering what was all the fuss about. A good start but I wanted more.
What a delightful quick read...David and Alex really are each other's halves....Kane and Dawn's storyline should be even more compelling due to the trauma the both suffered...I hope their storyline is a little bit longer and detailed...so much room for a potential on going saga....David's instant attraction to Alex was very hot....who doesn't love a damsel in distress...and a cute toddler thrown in the mix...which it was longer..grammatical errors can be easily fixed....the past tense for drag is dragged..not drug...I keep seeing this error repeatedly....anyway nice short sexy story. .
