Dark Scriptorium: The Sorcerer's Spell

Rate this book
I’m coughing up blood. My hands are shaking. The infection is spreading.

And in just over an hour one of the largest wiretap cyber-attacks in history will take place.

For years I’ve eluded detection. The FBI, the corporations, and the public were my enemy. Anonymity was my only friend.

But I made a mistake when covering my tracks earlier today. My work, my life—everything that I've accomplished—will be completely exposed.

I am going to lose everything.

I received this book for free from a Goodreads Giveaway in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this little story - a glimpse into the mind/life of a hacker. I enjoyed how the hacker was likened to a wizard, his codes as his spells, his tablet as his grimoire. The illustrations were a nice touch.
Short stories tend to frustrate me though - I'm left wanting more.

Hmmm, I was expecting something more, but it's not bad. A quick read, with a story I'd like to know more about.
