Dre and Kenz are back from Miami and closer than ever. Kenz is enjoying her new place, while Dre is trying to decide how long he can stand the distance between the two. Four days in Miami truly has Dre making plans for a more permanent life with Kenz.
Now that Dre has handled his business in Miami, he has one thing on his mind, and that's handling Kenz's father. That is until his past catches up with him. After one conversation with Kari in Miami, Dre quickly realizes that he made a terrible mistake, trying to correct this past with Kari. After Kari shows up at Avenues, she boldly announces that she has a secret that could potentially cause him to lose everything. His club, his financial security, and more importantly, Kenz. Kari wants money and money only. She couldn’t care less about having Dre, but she's more than determined to ruin his life. Q is the only person that Dre can trust, so between the two of them, they have to figure out a way to stop Kari, who is out for blood.
Kenz has no idea that her relationship is being threatened by the fact that Dre could possibly end up in prison because of a past mistake. What she does know is that she found who she believes to be his sister. Unfortunately, Dre's potential sister, who Kenz thinks she discovered by a simple run in at the mall, may have actually been targeting her. After going to the one person she shouldn't have and asking for help, she too finds herself at risk of ruining her relationship.
Livy has to make some real hard choices, starting with the fact that a real man actually wants to show her love. Will she respect herself enough to give him a chance, or will she settle for life as she knows it and sell herself short?
Dre and Kenz are both keeping secrets that could cost them everything. Will the two be able to pull it together and find the good in two very bad situations or will it be the end of their happy union.

This book pick right where part 1 left off. It was really good I love the relationship Dre and Kenzi had. I loved Si because he always had his sister back no matter what. I like Livy and I'm actually rooting for and Josh. I loved K.C. Mills writing all the book I read by her she never disappointed and this book was no different.

Different but good..
This story is different than the usual urban fiction. Usually it's drugs, cheating men, trifling women, death and takeovers but this story gives all drama n suspense with a different story line. The characters are of course about their money n most street smart but you get a different side of the streets as well as women on another level besides ghetto n ratchet....This is definitely a breath of fresh air as reading the same storylines can get boring or predictable n I look forward to seeing just where it will go. Great writing Ms. Mills.....as usual

Loved it!
This book was so good, I love the men in this book except there father. I love Quran and Brielle's relationship she was spoiled but knew how far to go with him. Dre and Kenz are good for each other I hope she's pregnant, Josh is exactly what Livy needs and she seems so happy. Si and Chelle never really came around together but I can tell they're in love, I'm ready for part 3.

K.C. you did your thing again with this book. Loved how Dre & Kenz are moving with their relationship. Q and Bri are a good couple but it's good that Q can put her in check when he needs to. It's good that they are honest with their women and don't keep secrets. Also love will have you wanting to protect them & make sure they safe. Kenz also had to learn not to try to find out things about Dre just to let him be. She learned what love is and how it feels to be loved.

Loved it!
I loved every page of this book. I was immediately drawn into the storyline from the very first page. I need a Dre in my life. Keela got what she deserved and I was kinda hoping that Kari would as well. I have a feeling that she is going to be a problem. I guess that I will have to read part 3 to find out.

Banger
This series just keeps getting better and better. I love me some Dre and Q. I love their relationships with Lenz and Bri. I'm glad they got rid of Keela and Sion trifling tails. But I think Kari should've been taken care of too. She might come back to be a problem. Josh and Livy are too cute. Glad she's giving him a chance. Waiting patiently o. Pt 3.

Nothing to this one really. We catch up with the group and the story kind of stalls with little action besides the Kari mess but other than that nothing is going on to really hold your attention.
