Silver Wood Coven #1-5

Silver Wood Coven: The Complete Series

Rate this book

What if you had no memory, not even of being a witch?

“Falling in love with the series again and again.” “Hang on for this one, it's going to be a bumpy ride. ;-)”

Rescued (Silver Wood Coven #1)

Templar Michael Charbon has been watching the young witch for months. Homeless, beautiful, and living in Central Park, she seems to charm everyone she meets. They shower her with kindness, and yet he never witnesses magic. Only when he rescues her from a rapist, does he understand why: Summer has no memory, not even of her real name. Though he barely resists her inexplicable pull on him, he would gladly break his vows to make her his own.

Magus Corps Major Troy Atwater is surprised to hear from Michael. But their long past together puts Michael’s word beyond doubt. Troy collects the beautiful, young witch from the Templar, before her strange attraction drives half of New York wild. A powerful warlock in his own right, Troy manages to veil her seductive appeal, so that he and the coven can help her. But a passionate bond quickly envelopes them that goes far beyond her charms.

For her part, Summer’s head is swimming. With barely a memory, she can hardly comprehend the ancient world of Wiccans and Templars. More than that she finds herself torn between two very different men. But as the extent of her powers reveal themselves and her deadly past returns in painful snippets, she finds that she isn’t meant to choose between Michael or Troy. She must have them both.

Stolen (Silver Wood Coven #2)

Just as Summer settles into her new life with the Silver Wood coven, her world is upended. Templar Michael Charbon inexplicably kidnaps her from the very place he’d sent her for safety. Though still suffering from amnesia, Summer has learned of the long enmity between Wiccans and Templars, and tries everything to escape him. But as he thwarts her every attempt, the fierce desire that has always bonded them surfaces.

United (Silver Wood Coven #3)

Still reeling from the brutal attack that has left Templar Michael Charbon fighting for his life, Summer and warlock Troy Atwater flee with him from New York. As they head to the Silver Wood Coven for refuge, they know two things: they will not be welcome, and the coven harbours a traitor.

Betrayed (Silver Wood Coven #4)

As the winter solstice gathering draws closer, and the other covens converge, the stakes couldn’t be higher. But when Summer’s memories begin to return, she glimpses her terrible purpose. Not only will she need to summon her power and her courage, she must ask the ultimate of her two men.

Revealed (Silver Wood Coven #5)

In a breathtaking vision shared by the three of them, Summer, Michael, and Troy finally learn the truth. But not only is Summer’s birth name revealed, so is her heritage and the real purpose of their passionate union.

As deadly forces close in on the winter gathering, Silver Wood coven has never been more vulnerable. Templars intent on finding the Emerald Tablet will stop at nothing to get to Summer, aided by a traitor in their midst. When the traitor finally reveals themselves, the depth of their vicious intent becomes clear.

Hazel and her husband stopped being separate people years ago. They live their happy life in the always crowded, mostly sunny, and sometimes sweltering city of LA. Though they haven’t managed it yet, plans are afoot to add a kitty to the household, thereby giving the allergist fits.

Hazel has been writing full-time for several years, with some traditionally published work in other genres. But it’s her indie-published romance that fuels the creative fire. It turns out writing isn’t a job, it’s an obsession.

When you can pry Hazel’s fingers from the laptop, you’ll find her: on the elliptical watching a documentary, indulging her audiobook habit, or spending quality time with Candy Crush. Although she’s vegan, she’s a disaster in the kitchen. Luckily, potato chips and pinot noir come ready-made.

Summer has lost her memory and she is living in Central Park. Michael is a Templar, his job is to capture and bring in any Wiccan found for interrogation. He is, however, conflicted as to what to do about "Beauty"/Summer. He is suspicious of her but has no proof that she is bespelling humans.

However, Michael is not the only one tracking "Beauty", a rapist has been hunting in Central Park and has her squarely in his sights. When "Beauty" is attacked Michael comes to her aid - but loses the assailant.

As Summer begins to share her story with Michael, he becomes more and more convinced that she needs to be protected. While fighting off the magnetic attraction they have to each other, Michael decides to send her to an old Friend/Enemy, who is a member of a coven in New Hampshire - Troy Atwater.

Thus we have our Triangle - Summer/Michael/Troy.

Honestly, I loved these three - the connection they had with one another, even as hard as they tried to fight it. The sexual tension and chemistry simply oozed out of my e-reader and curled my toes - about a 9.5 on my toe-curling scale.

I have to say that I loved Summer, even though she was without her memory, she didn't play the victim. She didn't whine about it and fuss over the loss. She did what she needed to learn more about herself and her magic. She also, let the "boys" know what she wanted and needed from them.

Have to say this was one of my favorite line of hers to Troy and Michael - "there will be no discussing or chatting or dismembering." - You gotta love a gal who puts the men in their place!

Even though the sexy times were great! - there was a great plot to this story line. As it twisted and turned we had a front row seat to Summer retrieving her memory and solving the puzzle that was presented.

We are left with an HFN ending - that is well deserved. I'm looking forward to diving into the additional stories that are coming out in this series.

Boom 1 Rescued

I love the characters in this book. The world the author has built is intriguing. The only thing I found lacking is the sex scenes. Only because of the wording ,for example "like a piston for the engine of his lust".
I would recommend reading this book.

I received this box set free from the author. I am voluntarily choosing to review it. I have read other stories by Hazel Hunter as individual books and I must say this was really nice to be able to read this whole set without having to wait weeks before the next book comes out. But I also have to say that the anticipation in waiting for the next book is kind of nice, too, because I always look forward to reading Hazel Hunter's books. I thoroughly enjoy her writing. Her characters are crisp and well-defined and through your reading, they become real to you. Her stories are clear and well thought out. In each book you find out more and more about Summer, a young witch with no memory; Michael, a Templar; and Troy, the Magus Corps Major. These are wonderfully done stories that draw you into the action with twists and turns, lots of action, and steamy romance. This is a very captivating series and I highly recommend it.

I love this series! It's great getting them in the set since individually they are more installments of one big story. Each of the books end in a cliffhanger so, with this, you can keep reading through. This is not the whole series though as there are books that follow the fifth one.

I love Summer, Michael, and Troy together! They are great! The storyline has twists and turns, some of which are unexpected. There's action and hot sex scenes as well. The storyline flows really well, too.

Another Fantastic read. This one kept me on my toes thinking who the traitor was within the coven of Silver Wood, at is the last person you would suspect. Summer, Michael and Troy are all tied to one another in this Menage et trois fated before they ever met. You really have toread it,because Ifi go into detail with anything, I will give it all away.

I've read a lot of books with both Witches and Templars as the main characters, this is a very different twist. I really enjoyed how the plot twisted and the true villain wasn't exposed until the very end of book 5. This series read very quickly and ended to soon. I would have like to learn more about some of the other characters.

This is my first book by Hazel Hunter and after reading "Rescued" it will not be my last!
Excellent paranormal mystery romance. It was exciting and the mystery around the woman "Summer" is awesome.
Summer awoke 3 months ago in the park, covered in blood and leaves. What's worse? She has no memory of why or who she is.
Michael is a Templar and they hunt witchs and warlocks. He thinks Summer is a witch but can't bring himself to bring her in to be tortured and killed.
Troy is a warlock working for the Magus corp. to protect witchs and warlocks.
This story is highly intriguing and entertaining on so many levels. I was hooked right away in this story and it held my attention. I couldn't put the book down.
If you're into mystery, paranormal romance with witchs, warlocks, & hunters then this story is for you. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to read the next one.

Wow my mind is blown lol great story great plot, love the mystery and action it's just over the top in everything . If your into magic, Wiccan, any of that stuff you are going to LOVE this
This is the 3rd story in the Silver wood conven.
Summer still doesn't know who she is and she is still finding out her powers but she does have Troy and Michael. Everything else in her life is still unsettled.
Troy's family are not making anything easy and then there are the Templars and that insane Templar coming after her. Could life get any crazier?
Oh year cheek out the end of the book lol. Hazel Hunter bought her A game with that one!
I have got to read the next book.
This book has action, drama, and so much steamyness it's wild. This series is awesome.
Book 4 of the silver wood coven find Michael and Troy are now mates to "summer" her memory is slowly returning but instead of answering questions it is leaving them with more questions.
The crazy Templar shows up, another Templar might be losing his mind, and there is still the betrayer giving away secrets and stabbed summer and tossed her in the water to die.
Wow this is exciting and action packed. So much drama and steamy spicy hotness it is impossible to put down! I can't wait to see what happens next in the series. It's fantastic.
Book 5
Summer, Michael, and Troy finally learn who and what they all are to each other. The trader is found but only after he tells where all the Wiccan are and put everyone in danger.
What an action packed story. It was exciting and awesome. I loved it so much depth to it, fantastic! It will take you on a roll-a-coaster ride of emotions thought time and space! You will not be disappointed.

Rescued Book 1

We meet a woman who has no idea who or what she is. A Templar has found her and instead of killing her or taking her to his order he calls the Wiccans to rescue her. Will he really let her go? Will the Wiccan who rescues her be able to resist her? What will happen next?

Stolen Book 2

We pick up where book 1 left off. Michael is fighting his attraction to Summer. But will he succeed? Summer is coming into her powers more. Troy finally finds her but can he handle what he sees? Will they survive the altercations that come? Will the covens be warned? What will happen next?

United Book 3

We pick up where the last book left off. We see how they are struggling with there relationship and how things are to progress. Summer comes into more of her powers. Will the guys ever learn to work things together? Will the coven accept Micheal? What will happen next?

Betrayed Book 4

We pick up where book 3 left off. Gideon finds his way to the coven but will he find the green witch? Will Summer learn any more about her past? Will Aileen learn the truth of her parentage? What will happen to Gideon? Will Troy make up with his father and brother? What will happen next?

Revealed Book 5

This is the final part. We continue from where we left off in book 4. We finally learn of what the curse is. We learn what she is. We learn why she lost her memory. We learn the truth. There is so much that happens in this book that you get lost in it then it ends and you are like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Will we see them again?

Silver Wood Coven - The Complete Series Box Set: A Witch and Warlock Romance by Hazel Hunter is Templar Michael Charbon, Magus Corps Major Troy Atwater, and Summer's story.

This story is different from what I normally read. I did enjoy the collection. There are twists, turns, steamy scenes, suspense, secrets, and so much more. I liked the fact that this was the complete series in one collection.

FYI, includes mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Overall this series is 3.5 stars. Each of the books in the Silver Wood Coven series are a short read. These books end in cliffhangers and are not meant to be read as a stand alone. This set is great so you can read the books all at once, in the correct order, and without having to locate the next book. Graphic violence and hot and steamy sex so definitely 18+.

The three main characters in this series are Michael, Summer, and Troy. When we first meet them Michael is a Templar Knight, Summer has no memory of her past (though she finds out she is a witch), and Troy is a Major with the Magnus Corps. Troy takes her up to the Silver Wood Coven which is headed up by his father. Troy has been away from home for years, ever since he left to join the Magnus Corps, so there is family drama with his return.

Add in some Templers who are determined to find Summer and force her to reveal the location of an ancient text. They also want to kill all the coven members they can (and they are given help and information from a traitor in the coven). Then there is the insane Templer who is killing without discrimination or discretion. And of course there are the coven members who don't trust Summer or Michael.

I was immediately drawn into the characters and storyline and read these books straight through. I really enjoyed these books and look forward to reading the sixth book in the series once it's released.

I absolutely love this boxed set from Hazel Hunter. She writes an amazing novella/short story, but having the opportunity to read them all back-to-back, makes for a more complete experience for me, (plus, I'm not too good with cliffhangers!).

This set tells the story of Summer, who has been living rough in Central Park for the last six months, with no previous memories of who she is or how she got there. Michael is a Templar that has been watching her, supposedly to make sure that she doesn't hurt any humans, but more because he feels a deep connection to her. Because she is a witch, he telephones Troy, a warlock with whom he has a long and tumultuous relationship. And so we start...

This is exceedingly well-written, with multiple points of view so that you get the complete picture. The 'big bad' is well hidden until the penultimate book when I figured it out, but I thought that it was still brilliant! The relationship between Summer, Michael, and Troy is heartfelt and touching. With amazing supporting characters, this is a story that will grip and enchant you, right up to the climax and epilogue. Definitely recommended.

* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and the comments here are my honest opinion. *

I read installment 1 (Rescued) as a stand-alone and rated it 3-stars for the abrupt cliffhanger -- not even an effort to create an ending of one or more plot threads, it simply stopped. What I got was a partial story. I also expressed disappointment the next four books were $3 ea for about 100-150 pages ea. I found the complete collection offered at $6, I decided to take a chance as I'd enjoyed Rescued until the ending.

Okay, Summer's "secret" was pretty obvious, there were preventable editing errors, and lazy formatting (the end of each installment contained pages of previews and self-promotion which should have been deleted in a box set. The author simply cut and pasted the books together without thought. Well unless the idea was to increase page count by 40+ pages.). A satisfying, although not a surprising ending. It was a good value for the box-set pricing. I don't recommend buying it in pieces-- too expensive.

Thank you for putting this together in a box set! I previously read this series as individual books, I am not a fan of a cliffhanger. Having the ability to read the full story from start to finish without waiting to the next book - Yum!

Summer is a Wiccan who wakes in Central Park with no memory of her life and who she is. Michael is a Templar who saves Summer from being attacked in the park. However, being a Templar Michael decides to call in Troy, a Wiccan Magus Corp Major to pick up Summer. Troy thinks the only place to protect Summer and keep her save is to bring her to Silver Wood Coven.

Can Michael and Troy keep Summer safe while she tries to remember who and what she is?

This story has well developed characters, action, adventure and romance! I would read the series again!

OUTSTANDING READ
I loved being able to read the whole series at one time. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Summer, a Wiccan, is attacked and wakes up in Central Park with no memories of who she is. Michael, who saved her, calls Troy, a Wiccan Magus Corp Major, to pick up Summer. He decides to take her to the Silver Wood Coven. Michael and Troy protect her until she gets her memory back and figures out who she is. This set has it all. It's a fast-paced adventure with drama, suspense, mystery, magic, romance, hot sex, and lots of twists and turns to keep you turning the pages. I thoroughly enjoyed this set and would highly recommend it. I received this set as a gift for an honest review. Patsy Sacco

This was a beautiful and riveting story. The series chronicles Summer's evolution from a vulnerable young woman to one who regains her memory, takes control of her power, and faces her destiny. Along the way, she is protected and loved by her two mates, Michael and Troy. The chemistry is incandescent! The depth of feeling among these three makes for the perfect romance.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. No hardship there, as this was undoubtedly an enjoyable read. I highly recommend! Thanks to Ms. Hunter and her team for the opportunity.

I received a copy of this series in exchange for an honest review. Another triumph from Ms. Hunter. Each book she writes fleshes out the world she has created. This book has a witch who doesn't know who she is, a member of Magus Corps who is having family problems, and a Templar who is more than he seems. They are pulled toward each other but they need to learn more before they can continue. Will their love triumph or will they be torn apart?

I loved these books, but each ends on a cliff hanger so i suggest you buy the box set!
Full of witches, warlocks, knights, MMF relationship with hot sex scenes, the story unfolds quite quickly and will draw you in and keep you there til the very end.

This is a great series that is continuing with new releases now. If you love paranormal romances and especially menage, this is a great choice for you. Summer, Troy and Michael make a very interesting triad. I really like the characters. They all have a real strong bond and you can feel the love and commitment they share. They face a lot of danger but stay strong.
