The First in this series. World War III begins and an American experimental tank called "No Slack" is trapped behind enemy lines. Lots of action but I didn't find the characters terribly compelling and that made me less interested in the action. Your experience might differ.

Have read all 6 (yea, there are six in the series) its pretty good, but be prepared for some downers. Losing a crewman can mess ya up. But they recover, and kick ass.
And as of 21 Feb 2025, the new German-French tank co-operation, if the keep co-operating that is, may be like the XM-F3 - Big turret gun, with a chaingun up top for air and ground cleanup (they had a co-ax, don't remember the calibre) Go check out "Task & Purpose" on Youtube.
