This is a nice quick read starting with Desiree finding out her grandfather was very ill and didn't have long to live. She immediately went to see him in her old home town. While there she rekindles her romance with her first love, Grant. He had broken their engagement at his father's command. After that Desiree left town, not seeing him again.
It was nice to see that when they met again they had both matured and changed. Grant realized his mistake in breaking up with Desiree when he was younger and stood up to his father this time when he tried to get them to stop seeing each other.
I liked this rather hot story and can't wait to read the next book.
