Apathy is killing the Church. Many who claim to know Jesus live unchanged lives and divide their affections among worthless idols. "Passion Cry" reveals a holy God who is unashamedly jealous for the love of His people, and He will not let this dispassion toward Him remain.
The Church has suffered too long from the pressure to conform to a dull, disinterested, lukewarm, and detached approach to Christ. The tide must turn. In the face of societal pressure, cultural and moral revolution, and an anti-Christ flavor that increases every day, Pastor Robbie Symons calls the people of God to rise up and take their stand. As the persecution upon Christ-followers goes from subtle to unmistakable, the current generation of believers is about to find out where their passions truly lie.
"I believe that Robbie has laid his finger on the most distressing aspect of the Christian life..."
Erwin Lutzer, Senior Pastor, The Moody Church
"If you want fresh passion for the purposes of the Lord in your life, you are holding a book on that topic written by a man who lives it and wants to help you get there, too."
James MacDonald, Senior Pastor, Harvest Bible Chapel
""Passion Cry" is an incredibly powerful and practical distillation of biblical zeal that will eradicate apathy and equip you to live a fulfilling and fruitful Christian life. "
Daniel Henderson, President, Strategic Renewal International
"This book will powerfully reinvigorate your life in Christ. I highly recommend "Passion Cry.""
James Reimer, NHL Goaltender

Robbie Symons is the founding Pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel Oakville. His greatest passion is to see Jesus Christ glorified as people realize their potential only through His amazing power.
With a Spirit-led resolve to proclaim the Word of God without apology, to passionately worship His only Son, and to believe firmly in the power of prayer, Jesus is building His Church. Harvest Oakville has experienced the power and grace of the Lord in its growth from a Bible study of 18 people in 2003 to over 3000 worshipers today.
This is easily one of the best books on faith and the Christian life I have read. Just when you think you have read and heard it all, this author comes along with a fresh and powerful message about how urgent it is for a believer to get serious about spending time in the Scriptures, to know without question how important and powerful prayer is to the individual and to the church, and how we absolutely must be led by the Holy Spirit and be obedient to His leading. We are not talking about 'playing church' here. This is a call to the real deal: the full and correct handling of the word of God; a daily, fervent calling on God in prayer; a sincere love for the brethren; a reaching out to others with the gospel; and a passion for doing so. Help us all, Lord, to repent of any lack in these vital areas of the Christian life.
Harvest Bible Chapel pastor Robbie Symons has written a masterpiece. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen an endorsement of a book that goes like this: “Every Christian should read this book!” or “Every Pastor should read this book!” Now I’ve found such a book. Love it. Love it. Love it. Symons, a disciple of A. W. Tozer, is wearing his mantle well. Full disclosure: I am a fellow Harvest Bible Chapel pastor and know Robbie personally. Perhaps, on the negative side, that makes my review biased. On the positive side, I know he is the real deal.
Feels repetitive at times but this message is needed in my heart and the hearts of those in the church. Robbie’s voice is filled with so much passion that it is infectious. I want to live like that!
“Christian passion is a burning desire to please the Lord in how we think and live.” “A passion for God will always lead to a passion for souls.” Love it!!
