Ok, so, the first book left us on a cliffy but was extremely HAWT......This one, although still hot it was hot in a different way........I really enjoyed the start, where they go to the warehouse and thought that the way the author described the interior etc was fantastic... It enabled me to envisage things a lot better.
I loved who Tara didn't lose her attitude or sass and am hoping that there's going to be repercussions with regards to what happened there.
Things seriously heated up nearer the end, but in a different way than book one.......Again i really loved what the Professor did to Tara and thought it was an ingenious idea....I'd still love to go back to school and learn with this Professor.....

Professor’s Paramour by Kayar Chance Bad Professor Book 2
This is the second installment by Kayar which picks up after the final scene in book 1. Professor White has agreed to teach Tara how to be a hunter and starts her lessons. We are introduced to a playground called SLAUGHTERHOUSE 9.
The trip to this playground did not go as Professor White had planned. This book is definitely much darker that book 1. We are learning a little bit more of the world Professor White lives in. We get introduced to Cleopatra Artemis Kincaid (Cleo) who was also a student of Professor White. Cleo has slaves that are dressed in armor and talk like they are in medieval times. This first meeting with Cleo doesn’t go well for anyone (nope not going to give any details her, you will need to read to see what happens).
As we have watch Tara through book 1 and now book 2 we know that she has a smart mouth on her and its causing issues for everyone. Well needless to say Professor White thought he was in control when in reality Tara took over. Funny the dynamic of these two characters.
Kayar starts to take us deeper into the underground sex world when Professor White feels the need to punish Tara for her performance at SLAUGHTERHOUSE 9. He still agrees to teach her and they start their Friday to Sunday routine in order to accomplish this but trust will be a big issue to overcome.
This book for me was about Tara finding herself and exploring her deepest desires. Izzy, college classmate, really surprised me (not going to say any more than that). We also get to meet Dean Lincoln, let’s just say she was a surprise as well.
The complexity is building and you are left with some outstanding questions but I firmly believe there is something more happening with Professor White and Tara’s relationship. This all has to be leading somewhere with all of this build up…..makes me eager to read book 3.

I am never speechless. However, after reading book 2 that is exactly what I am. Reading has always been the highlight of my day. There is nothing better than a classic Gothic novel filled with deep themes, motifs, and symbols. As I became older, I discovered smut. This also helped to fill a need, however they seem to lack mystery, intrigue and old world conflicts. I never held it against the author, I just knew I had to go to the classics to obtain these elements.
Imagine my surprise when I embarked on the journey of all that is Kayar Chance. This series takes the dark and deep theme and has me jotting down notes, questions and possible totems that the author has thrown out like bread crumbs. I won't even mention them because I do not want to ruin the surprise.
Now don't get worried, there is plenty of sex and naughty behavior. This book is filled with yummy Master style sex that is hot as f---, fire, let's just assume I said fire.
Professor White begins teaching Tara. Wow, what a lesson plan he provides for her. I am pretty sure she doesn't mind the extra class work, field trips and I personally will never look at a desk again without thinking of him. So let the teachings continue and of course the use of the word ".....mine....." (You know that's my weakness) and we have hope that these two are falling hard and everything will work out.
Next up is book 3 and I can't wait. I have not been this excited over an author and his/her style of writing in quite some time. I plan to revisit all that is Chance in my next reviews as the series continues.

Amazingly wonderful! This is the second book in the series and the second book that I read from this author and once again, it does not disappoint! I am riding my own high from finishing this book. I almost decided against posting this review right no because I wanted to immediately delve into the next book! His writing style is so rare! There are few authors that have me hanging on every word. But, there are even fewer authors that make me believe I am actually living in every word! I can't say enough wonderful things about this series, there just aren't words in the human language to express the feelings I am currently experiencing. And, this is absolutely an experience!! The emotion, the thrill, the fear, the EVERYTHING that this story pulls out! Wow! JUST WOW!!! I know that once you start reading these books you won't want to stop!

A thrilling, sexy adventure from start to finish! The tension and power play scenarios were very exciting and arousing, as well as suspenseful. I especially enjoyed the specific scenarios Miss Jones was subjected to by the Professor. Overall, the development, details and characters were excellent. I highly recommend it!

Where the first book was somehow playful and pulled you in, this second book is darker, thrilling and beyond imagination.
Finally found a serie again that has captured me and loved every minute of it.

No Boundaries
Second installment is just as exciting as the first. No boundaries when it comes to sex and descriptions. Think Professor White is going to be high on my Book Boyfriends list by the end of the series.
