Definitely fun, but I feel like it’s the kind of thing that would’ve been even better as a graphic novel. Or a 90s movie starring Dolph Lundgren.

Set in the near future of America, where the money is worthless and overseas companies and banks own most of it. Swag is in the line of protection for tourists and people who want to live while in New York City. His latest job, a beautiful young rich woman is gunned down. He wants to know who placed the hit and digs himself a deep hole.

For me, I like my dystopian books to be like a kick in the crotch. Fast, easy and reliable. Stuff like "Endworld." "Traveler." "Doomsday Warrior." Stuff in the "Road Warrior" vein. When you just have a society that collapses and run by companies, while you still go to work and do pretty normal things kind of weigh the story down for me.
