This was a sweet little story following the lead up to and the night of Michael and Justin's mating ceremony. The whole idea of mating in front of the entire pack is still an aspect of this series that creeps me out .

I'm not really sure why it's marked as book #4.5 because it's actually set after the events of book #6 (Daniel's Mate). This annoyed me because now I feel like I read them out of order.

I actually really enjoyed this mini-interlude. Although I don't know where it belongs chronologically. It skips into the future to give a conclusion to Michael's tale, but I think both the next two books take place before it. At least one does. But I don't think anyone is going to die in this world.

This is a wonderful series if you haven’t investigated it- you should!
This is book 4.5 and it is absolutely predicated on the idea that you’ve been following along as it is the couple from book 4, Michael’s Mate.

Michael is a wolf shifter who is reluctant to mate with Eagle shifter Justin. In book 4 they work out most of their issues, but there is still a LOT of anxiety surrounding the actual act of mating for these guys. They love and are devoted to one another, but the mating itself is giving them ulcers.

Fortunately the super awesome duo that is Declan and his mate Quinn manage to manipulate the situation to give these guys not only what they want but what they need.

We get to see all the couples in this book – being cute – and lots and lots and lots of feels. Ooey gooey wonderfulness – that’s what this book is.

I loved every word!

Highly recommended to fans of the series and if you’re a shifter fan and haven’t read these – go get ‘em!

Ok so usually I do not like short stories because there is no time for the story line to develop but this one was good. We step into the story when a wolf and eagle shifter are about to go through a mating ceremony. michael (the wolf) is worried and jealous others will witness it. Justin (the eagle) tries to help his love through this. the story is set up before we enter but the connection the two have is so sweet and the way they resolve their problems and become 'married' so to speak is just plain sweet. it speaks of true love. would love to read more on this couple sometime.

Michael and Justin have been together and are settling in but Michael's tension is cropping up as the mating time draws near. but the name of the game is communication and once bonds are formed things can fall into place. It doesn't hurt to have some really great friends as well.

Great fun quick read

This was a sweet follow up to Michael and Justin's book. The guys were so in love it made you smile. The plot was pretty basic but entertaining, there is a little tension and some cut fun as well.

A wonderful conclusion to Michael and Justin's story. This picks up several months after Michael's Heart and details the days leading up to their mating ceremony. A wonderful pack with great characters.
