It was obvious that Vice had little to no regard for the value of human life. Known in the hood as a brutal, cold-hearted killer, no one was ever safe when it came to him. But will the bitch known as karma continue to turn the other cheek? It was only fair that Vice suffered a great loss like the family of every man who's ever crossed him had to, right? And, as fate would have it, karma had crept up on Vice and taught him the lesson he so badly needed to learn. Or had it? With his conscience badly eating at him, and no one to blame but himself, he felt as if the weight of the world was on his shoulders. But he wouldn't let it pull him down. There was too much to be taken care of. Blood to spill, a family to care for, and loose ends to tie up. All while the tempting drug game he had vowed to stay out of, pulled him back in. What obstacles will Vice face this time around? Has he learned his lesson? Or will many more die at the merciless hands of the infamous, and gritty Vice?
For as long as Miss Candice could remember, writing has been her passion. In the beginning, she wrote poetry. Later on in life, when she was about thirteen years old, she was introduced to fanfiction.
The Coldest Winter Ever was the first urban fiction book she read. It wast then when she took Fanfiction to another level. She perfected her writing skills, and began to write Urban fanfiction. At first, writing was something she did in her spare time. Something that was therapeutic to her. Never in a million years, did she think she would become a published author, although it has always been a dream of hers.
Now, at the age of twenty-eight, she's penned over ten bestselling novels with many more to come.
In addition to writing, She's also CEO and founder of Miss Candice Presents.
NOW THIS IS HOW YOU END A SERIES!!!!! I have to say when I first started part 4 I was really in an uproar because it started off immediately where Book 3 ended. I honestly had tears welling up in my eyes because I just could not fathom how Vice was going to be able to move forward without his brown skin Storm AND THEN.........I was able to release my cry of anguish and let out a sigh of RELIEF!!!!!!!(I know I"m dramatic as all get out right now but this book was just that good!) It was all a dream. I'm going to be silly for a second and just say THANK YOU BIG BABY JESUS FOR ALLOWING MISS CANDICE TO LET STORM AND VICE HAVE THEIR FAIRYTALE ENDING!!! OK I'm serious again. Miss Candice is one heck of a writer. I was intrigued from beginning to end. It is quite a juxtaposition to witness the many sides that make up the man Vice. He was attentive, loving, full of emotion when he was with Storm and Star and with everyone else including his right hand man Reek, he could turn as cold as the frozen tundra. For Vice Storm was more of a necessity. Their love for each other was seemingly ingrained in their DNA. She loved him above all others and the same could be said for his love for her. I loved the fact that in spite of his overwhelming NEED to bring harm to Storm's father Mack(and in my opinion he would have been justified), he put Storm's needs above his thirst for revenge. Storm's mother was messy as all get out. She knew the problems that her husband had caused but like a typical mother she felt she knew what was best and attempted to force them to fix their issues. I honestly didn't see the twist that Miss Candice threw in there during Storm and Vice's reception coming. She hit us with that one out of left field. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this series from beginning to end. In many cases when a writer continues a series the story becomes stale or the luster that accompanied the first book begins to fade. This is clearly NOT the case with this series. I was on the edge of my seat from book 1 all the way to book 4. I can honestly say that if you miss out on this series you will be kicking your own self in the behind. This is one of those books that you can include in a book discussion and the readers will still be talking about it for days to come. Miss Candice my hat is off to you, you did an EXCELLENT JOB with the finale and I eagerly await your next project!!!!!
Wait! Did she just do that? Want to go on an emotional frenzy? Want to drown yourself into the words within the pages of a book? Then you need to stop wasting time and read this series already. Miss Candice…. Is not an author to sleep on. I didn’t want a part 4, and, at first, I was upset that she was writing it. I guess you can say I am not always a fan of happy endings when reading books. However, we got a part four, and it was worth it in the end. So, I will not hold it against her this time!
Based on the last ending, the question was why? And what’s next? Things couldn’t ever be the same or go back to how they were or could they? Betrayal vs. Loyalty? Sanity vs. Sociopath? Torn between two paths ….. Which to take? No regrets or turning back now! The real definition of survival of the fittest! The question is who replaces the irreplaceable? Does everyone deserve a second chance or forgiveness? You be the judge…….
To find out what happens you have to take the journey to unfold the answers within Us Against Everybody 4. As usual, Miss Candice has unleashed her talented and straightforward way with words within the pages of this book and left me emotional. She has a way of making you love her characters and relate even just for that moment to what is going on like you are living it. I have read all of her work, and it is true you can’t fake real talent. The only issue I have with the story is that I wish Auntie Keisha was mentioned more LOL. It is evident that Miss Candice is working on better her craft, and I can’t wait for what is next! #Fan4Life
25% of the stories is just song lyrics… The moves Vice was making the entire way have been sloppy but this seemed even worse. The whole drug angle in these, a waste, his character should've just been a hit-man or something. Then all the song lyrics, not just in this one but the others really takes away from the read.
The author used a good 25% of the story in just song lyrics, the real writers should be getting credit for this. Overall these were okay but I standby most females shouldn't write about drugs and how they operate.
It was a good read ending this series. I enjoyed the dynamics between Reek and Carla which carried my interest throughout most of the book. I anticipated more closure but hope this author gives it to us in other reads. Like is Vice really out the game? Are he and Mack really on amicable terms? What's the real deal with Aunt Keisha? So I gave it a 4 because of loose ends I see could have had a more final stroke after 4 books. Still a great job!
This is a great ending to this series. I am happy that Storm isn't dead. I was praying that it was just a dream that Vice was having. I'm glad that they got their happy ending, because they truly deserve it. I recommend this series to anyone liking for a great read. But make sure that you begin with part 1. What's next Miss Candice?
Great story flow. I loved Vice and Storm. I was happy that they finally had peace. I'm also glad that Vice is trying to be civil towards her father. His Aunt shocked me. I honestly didn't think that she was behind all the foolishness. Great ending though..Now I'm hoping to see a storyline with Reek and Carla
Excellent series.I am really happy vice got his life together cause he was on some real killer ish . I would like to see a spin off with Carla and reek and a nice happy ending
Now this is one hell of a way to end a series! At first I felt that part 3 was the end even though it was a sad ending I didn't think it needed to continue but Miss Candice brain went to thinking and decided to part 4 I was like how's that going to happen
You tricked us in the last book. I am over here crying thinking Storm was dead. Glad it was all a dream. Love how the love of a good woman helped Vice on his way to being a better man.
Vice was too much on every level. I started to dislike him. I was confused by all the external and internal conflicts. I don't remember the first three books, but this book was dark to me. I'm glad this was the finale.
This book right here had me on my toes throughout the whole book. Vice was on one frfr. I'm so glad that it ended happy. Dang I wished that Carla n Reek could have gotta so action in this book. But oh well it's all good tho. This was fire right here! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
