Jane is normal, ordinary and completely boring. In fact, she refers to herself as Plain Jane. She spends her days working hard at school so that she can escape her dreadful family as soon as possible. The only light in her day is her best friend Serena.

That is until the gorgeous Brett joins the school. Jane thinks about him all the time. She even dreams about him, but there’s no way he’d ever be interested in her, right?

She’s understandably suspicious when he starts to pay her attention. It must all be some kind of school yard prank. There’s no way he could actually like her! Then he goes and makes it much worse by talking about bizarre supernatural phenomena, such as vampires and werewolves. It seems that he’s determined to turn her life upside down in whatever way he can!
