The San Francisco Massacre
Florida narcotics detectives Bill Dix and Steve Peterson are in San Francisco for a conference or convention when their hotel is bombed. Shooters are posted outside to pick people off as they run out of the damaged building.
Investigation of the event indicates that it is the work of the Platinum Cartel possibly joined by another cartel. With the investigation moving between San Francisco, El Paso, Texas, and Washington, D.C., there are clues, rumors and dirty deeds everywhere.
I don't want to say too much and spoil this story, so I'll just say that this is different from the Dix-Peterson adventures you've read before. This is the end of the series, so if you've been following Bill Dix, you don't want to miss this one.

Intense!!!
I've really enjoyed the Bill Dix Series by C.L. Sweeney. This book however, was the best! With every page the intensity grew, starting with the bombing of the hotel. From every angle there was corruption and killing and although it's only a novel, I know everything that went on could really happen or has already happened. I hope there is more in the future for the new Drug Czar, or whoever will be around to clean up the mess! Great job Chris!! Definitely 5 stars!!

I enjoyed the Bill Dix series and was sorry to see the series end. I'm hoping the author writes more novels, I am looking forward to reading them.
