They say that no one can hear you scream in space, but that’s a big lie because I know for a fact that plenty of aliens have heard me…
So, who’s sick of aliens and has two thumbs? This girl right here.
I’m now on the run with the jerk who abducted me and we’ve got nowhere to go. We’ve crash-landed onto a hostile planet where the plant-life may or may not want to eat us, the locals might want to fight us and the Imperial forces may still be chasing us.
And it doesn’t help that I’m stuck with an 80 year old curmudgeon who’s stuck in a sexy blue alien body. Why is nothing ever easy for me?
*Note: This is the final installment for the serial "Alien Space Pirates"! Enjoy! *
The end of the book (purchased in 3 parts). Still some ambivalence by the alien/hero on whether he should have rescued Dani. I feel he's treating his enemies like the 3 stooges which will not turn out well. I had high hopes for this book but was disappointed. :(
So for the whole serial, I'd say it's a solid 3.5 stars.
It's 3 short stories, yet if you add it all together, I still think it's one hell of a short story. Those who know me knows I hate short stories and serials, lol.
With that said, I do like this story. There are so many missed opportunities though because it's so short. But at least it didn't feel like it was insta-love and there was a damn good plot throughout the book.
Third in the series (and last) and not as short as the others. The author has a very pleasant style, I thought it was quite funny as well. Dani and her Big Blue have crash landed on a strange planet and have to wait for help. Without excessive world building the author knows how to tell an interesting story and I also liked how Dani thought about certain things like 'why do humans think they are better than others in the food chain' and how she argued with Dakhar about it.
The attraction between Dani and Dakhar grows and I liked the way their relationship grows as well.
I do hope we will hear (much!!!) more about these two while they are off to the other quadrant where Jordan and Kaveth (his friend) are.
Very much enjoyed this series. I wish it was a more extensive full novel. But I will take what I get. I hope this author will write much more of these stories.
This was a great story. It was light reading with a wonderful story line. The Alien did not know what the heroine was talking about all the time which makes sense. I will make sure that I buy her next book. If she keeps writing like this I will keep buying her books
So glad I read the other reviews and read the three books in the series. Dani is a scream(attacks Big Blue with a spork in the first book) and Dahkar is the big blue alien that does not want to want her but repeatedly saves her anyway. Loved this series...cannot wait to see how they find her friend, Jordan, in the next series.
What a hilarious and wonderful book. I love the characters and the scenery!! Dani is hilarious and big blue is so stoic its hard not to love him. Can't wait to read more!!
The series wasn't perfect but I really enjoyed it. I not only loved the space and alien aspect, of course, but I also liked the authors humor and writing style. A lot of the things she wrote are the same phrases I say and think... cursing like a sailor in real life is not something I'm proud of but it is what it is. I haven't looked into it but it leads me believe the author is around the same age as me. I didn't like that it was split up into separate books, which didn't affect me too much since I got conned into paying for Kindle unlimited another month but on a whole I'm not into this serial thing we got going. Looking forward to the other kidnapped woman's story/ adventure.
I finally got to read the next part of the story and have enjoyed this series immensely. I really like this author the storyline just grabs you and you just love how the big hunky alien keeps losing his earth female. Then has to go to desperate lengths to get her back. I am looking forward to the next instalment with great anticipation. Please hurry. Highly recommend this series.
Quick 1 hour read sexy fun woven into trouble fast paced adventures big hot alien and small soft human girl and big blue alien I read the trilogy not serious reading but good way to pass the time during blizzard the left me home with my kids as opposed to the general quite between 7am-4:30pm
Could definitely use a good editor. Kaveth is the interesting one. Very irreverent but fun and progresses nicely in falling in love. Jordan is a little disappointing. I realized at the end that she spent the story crying or following Kaveth. Also the sex scene descriptions had me cringing.
I eagerly read this conclusion. It was filled with action, humor, and romance(this is erotica to me) but still had some small editing mistakes. The ending sets up the story of Jordan and the other alien. Looking forward to reading more of this author!
This was a pretty entertaining story. The characters were kind of annoying, but the plot wasn't bad. If I find some other books by this author I will read them, hopefully they are not a serial format.
These two characters were funny through out this series. I really enjoyed the banter that went back and forth. I really hope Ms. Frost will tell the story of the other couple. I'd love to have seen what happens between them.
Finally we have some smexy time with our H/h! This overall is a very readable series. I would caveat that if you are looking for OTT sexy alien barbarians this isn't the series for you. It more like a Sci-Fi Alien series for YA/NA. Characters are likable, funny, and no throat punching desired.
Yep, it was hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilarious!!!!!! I laughed like a million times. Also, sweet and quirky! Vastly amused and grateful that I read it!!!! Hope more books come out.
