Leonard kid napped and collared Liz, now her training begins to be his perfect slave. Liz knows she is being held captive but can't help being turned on by Leonard. All she wants is to be free and she would chose to stay with Leonard, she just wants the choice. Need to start part 3!!

Now that Leonard has Liz as his captive he begins training her to be his perfect little slave. Liz's mind is unsettling to her, she is very aware that she is his captive but she is so turned on by everything he is doing to her that she cannot understand why she is reacting that way.
We are left with another cliffhanger so I am off to read Owned.

Silent Daughter is naughty

Not sure how I feel about this, I'm enjoying that Liz is discovering, who she is, and what she desires. I will say what Leonard say to Liz is true, she does have more control than she thinks. I think what's throwing me off is the whole kidnapping. Why kidnap her

A great second installment, but it needs so much EDITING !

A great second installment to this story, but jeez man, the editing! It needs a LOT of help. It was so distracting from the overall story, and that's never good.

In the second installment we find Liz still a captive prisoner as she tries to make heads/tails of her current situation. Naturally, Leonard is really no help to her (what a gem), nor is he forth coming about his plans for Liz, be it long term or short term.

I really like the setting of the story. They're close to civilization while at the same time secluded away from everyone, sort of out in the boonies in, what seems to me, like a beautiful setting. I also liked seeing Liz's continued, quiet resilience. She's naturally conflicted over her mixed feelings while in this predicament, but she doesn't lose sight of her spirit or strength. It's still too early in the story to feel any real connection to Leonard, both for Liz and as a reader, but I'm hoping that will come. I also have no grasp on Leonard, and again, hopefully it will all play out nicely as the story unfolds further.

I enjoyed seeing a tiny bit more of her f****d up family. Her family is just...gross, terrible, and everything I aspire to never be. I can totally sympathize with how Liz feels about them, even though she's very young and still a bit immature. She's like a kid playing adult and she's suddenly finding herself in the deep end of the pool, but rather than drown she's actually attempting to deal with what's going on. I appreciate that in a female character. She's understandably emotional and has the occasional sob fest, but it's all within reason and I wouldn't buy her character without it.

Overall I'm excited to read the next installment, though I'm crossing all my fingers and toes that the editing won't be nearly as cringe-inducing. I would recommend this book to others, but just fyi, while it is a book about kidnapping, being drugged, BDSM, etc, it's really not THAT dark. I've read way worse.

For a while, I was lost in Liz and Leonard's isolated world. It was really hard to forgive this dominating man for what he's putting Liz through, but the truth is that the situation is masterfully described by the authors.

Forced submission, training, ropes and harsh punishment, all combine in an intense battle of wills that clash in arousing ways. I was disturbed a little bit by his unforgiving behaviour, but I enjoyed the tension that crackled between the characters, the smart situations, the mix of pleasure and pain that came from their mutual discoveries of each other and themselves when they faced their desires.

It's a splendid second part that oozes strength, lust and a little scare, and I'm eager to find out how it's going to develop in the next installment.

Despite that Liz is Leonard's prisoner, collared, chained, and naked, forced to do his bidding or be punished, I can deal with this because I know that secretly, this is everything she never dared dream of. And I believe Leonard is protective of her and only wants to fulfill both of their deepest desires. If I didn't know this, I would be experiencing that nervous kind of sick feeling that dark romances provoke in me. I can't wait for book three so I can see if Liz and Leonard get their happy ending and also to see if her nasty family gets their comeuppance. This book is dark, intense, and erotic. Be warned!

I am totally blown away with how awesome this series is so far. I loved the first book and the story of Leonard and Liz. This continues where book 1 leaves off and I was totally unable to put this book down. I liked the way this was more in depth of the "training" in store for Liz. The interaction between them is still a fun banter with rewards/punishments for Liz. I am hoping there is more to this series. I love this series and want more of it.

This is definately a darker book, not really light-hearted but not horribly dark either. I am curious where Leonard and Liz go from here.

Leonard has kidnapped Liz and has her locked up naked in his home. He is keeping her there and training her to be his sub. Although there are certain aspects that she likes, she hates not having her freedom. She feels bad that she enjoys what he is doing to her. He has to leave to attend to some work and she begs him not chain her up. So he agrees. She inspects the room and decides to attempt to get the door unlocked. But will she succeed? And even if she does, will she leave? Or is this exactly what she wants?

If you don't like the dark erotic stories then this one isn't for you!

Book 2 is amazing! I couldn't put it down and want more! This one started off with an explosion and didn't stop until the end. Leonard and Liz are so explosive together! I had a great laugh when Leonard ran into Liz's sister. (That's all I'm going to say - I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it yet). I couldn't believe the cliffhanger!!!! I can't wait for Book 3.

Again, definitely not for the faint of heart. And please heed the authors' warnings when they say the book contains scenes and subject matter that may be difficult to read. I am not completely comfortable with the "kidnap" and "kept" aspects of this relationship but the chemistry between Liz and Leonard continues to be compelling. I enjoy watching both of them breaking through barriers they didn't realize they had: Liz discovering freedom in her submission and Leonard letting Liz into the fortress of his heart.

Dark (not too dark) and sexy is right, and it's so good. I love how Liz's atypical behavior keeps surprising Leonard. This may have a dark theme, but the interactions between those two are really fun to read, especially what they’re thinking.

This is the second book in the Silient Daughter series and begins where the first book left off. I do recommend they be read in order. Liz realizes this is more than just a game and Leonard doesn't have plans to let her go anytime soon. This is a fast paced read with lots of drama and suspense. Will Liz accept her training and Leonard as her Master or will she find a way for her to escape? Great characters and very hot! Can't wait to find out what happens next!

Pretty good

My biggest complaint is there is very little or anything character development! Oh & how could I forget her eyes!!!!
Her eyes are green
No wait they are blue! In this light they are forest green! They are so blue I don't know how I ever saw green in them! Smh
My god the obsession with her eyes and her change eye Color is so over the top I was rolling my eyes!! I kid you not her eyes are describe at the top of every Paige it's filler plain and simple!

Liz has realized that Leonard isn't just playing a game, and that he intends to keep her as his captive. She also knows that her past behavior means that her family may not that she is gone for an extended period involuntarily. Wow, very hot, a fantastic book!

This was a really good book. I loved how Leonard takes care of Liz's rope fetish while enjoying his control at the same time. It's funny how she thinks he is completely in control when she is able to get away with a lot with him. Unfortunately he makes a miscalculation. Now can't wait to finish 3.

Sexy an a little dark, part two picks up where one left off with Liz locked in Leonard's home.
These two characters have captured my interest, she's still so fiesty and smart. Leonard manages to not seem like a horrible person, he takes the time to give Liz a bit of what she likes while maintaining the control he loves.
I can't wait to see what happens in the final chapter.

After being kidnapped Leonard is determined to break Liz to his own will, but becoming attached makes him forgetful of the little things! When Leonard leaves her unchained and the door accidently unlocked will Liz escape or stay with her captor?

Definitely a hot read and loved how it gave insight to what her family is thinking!

Yowza, this just gets better and better as I read. Book 3 can't come soon enough. I need to know NOW. Liz is basically Leonard's captive. This goes beyond Dom/sub training. I can't wait to see how this "relationship" turns out.

He says training and she says kidnapped but both are figuring out what they need. Some may find this story very dark or sick but remember it's a story and we all have this dark spot we wish to have someone else control. .Great read

Almost uncomfortable

Very dark but I like it. I would love it except for one element. If you're entering into a BDSM or S/M relationship is HAS TO BE CONSENSUAL!!! A good master does not kidnap a slave to train. It has to be consensual!!!

This book is exactly what I have been looking for. You can tell that Leonard is hiding something but what? Then there is Liz. She is conflicted on if she should fall for this man but whenever he is near she can't help but wanting to be with him.
