In her southern hometown, Leslie knows where she stands. A divorced mother with a preteen daughter should be able to expect certain things in life. She provides a good home for her child, she’s loyal to her friends, and she hopes to find a love that won’t fizzle out with age. Enter Stuart Altmann, a friend-of-a-friend who appears to be a down-to-earth businessman with a heart of gold and a sweet smile. He seems to fit right in with her expectations.

But Stuart doesn’t want to just fit he wants to inflame her and push her to her limits. He wants her to explore a side of her sexuality she had always thought was inappropriate for a woman of her standing. His hidden passions force her to rethink her ideas of what is appropriate. Not all businessmen are stoic, not all pain is bad, and all the money in the world can't buy you happiness if you don't understand who you really are.

Unsuitable is about Leslie, an average divorced mother of a child with a boring life and Stuart, a businessman who has been able to make his name in the world by relying on the right people. I think I may want to know how he became a millionaire to get some tips, lol.
The book is small so it only contains events of a single night. Leslie and Stuart meet at a charity event, but this isn't their first visit. They had liked each other from a previous meeting. Leslie is charmed by the sweet gentleman before her and Stuart can't help but feel Leslie is the perfect person to share his dark desires with. Since it's a short read, I can't describe much of the story without giving away spoilers. The sex at the end was okay, could have been refined more but I guess there's more in the next two books. It was enough to make me curious about where this story goes though. Waiting for the next book.

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts arc.

Stuart started investing in people other than stocks some people worked and others not. His employee checked on the company throwing the gala and find out they are on the up and up. Stuart found out that the woman was throwing the galas could lose everything if it doesn’t pan out her charity would close as well as her shelter. Sheila who worked for him put him up in a bachelor auction. Stuart sees a familiar face Leslie so he walks up to her. Stuart sees his ex which he was not happy about and knew she was there to bid on him for another date. Leslie won the auction bidding against his ex who was furious. His ex whispered to her that she wouldn’t be able to keep up with him and his whip. Leslie was finding out that night what Stuart was about.

I didn’t realized that this book ends on a cliffhanger

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and raw passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after. It was Erotic and a turn on of kink. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

An interesting story. Stuart and Leslie meet up again at a charity event. He requests a favor and she helps him out. To thank her, he takes her out for dinner and their attraction to each other builds. Stuart will have to overcome her personal fears if he wants to make this relationship work and to be honest about everything. This story ends on a HFN and I can’t wait to read the next book!

I've never read anything from this author before so I had no idea what to expect. This is a short story which I would have loved more if it was written in the first instead of in third person, not to mention that it only contains the events of one night because it's that short. It should have been longer for the characters to develop more.

This is the story of Leslie and Stuart. She lives in a small town, is divorced with a teenage daughter. She’s ready for something more and she finds it when she meets Stuart at a charity event. He’s up for auction and she wins the bid. How will this date go and will there be more? I enjoyed this fun, entertaining romance. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Stuart and Leslie - Book 1

Unsuitable is the first book in the Stuart duet, and be warned that this book does end with a cliffhanger as the story continues. The story is about Stuart Altmann and Leslie Burgess and it will start your Kindle to smoke.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
