This book is my new happy place. I love all the colors and the designs and creativity it displays. The style is fun and full of whimsy and it makes me want to go drop a lot of cash down at the Barnyard Flea Market on some new accoutrements for my casa.
This was one of those decor books of which I didn’t read the text. I did find the photos quite inspiring, though - so maybe I should have read something, but oh well. I worried that most of the book would be Shabby Chic Moroccan Bohemian. There is plenty of that, but there are many rooms that are just colorful, happy, and look easy and lovely in which to actually live. There are surprising spots to put color - a scarf pinned to the inside of a roller shade or buttons strung on a lampshade frame, along with the usual suspects - statement art, statement furniture. Some rooms shown here are very chaotic, while some calm, most all are full, not one is minimal.
Picked up for a few pounds in charity , which is very fitting , for this great book. So many wonderful photos , love these homes. Who needs a rubbish house mag when u can find a lovely book and so much more satisfying than an insta set of photos.
Very colorful! Lots of pieces from England and Morocco (which makes it a bummer to be in the US!). A lot of interesting quick tips to incorporate this style into each room in your home in a variety of ways. There was also a focus on using bits and pieces of remnants and samples to create complete pieces.
If you are creativity, artsy, and love color, this is the book for you. The gorgeous photos of beautiful rooms in full color will provide an infinite array of ideas for decorating your spaces. These spaces are actual places you can live in, warm and comfortable, but also affordable. If your favorite color is beige and your prefered style is formal, skip this book!
Bazaar Style has its own style without a doubt. For someone looking for unique decorating ideas or how to mesh styles, this book is a good place to look for inspiration. Some of the ideas seemed fairly strange, but I must admit they made an impact.
Absolutley the BEST design book I have ever read! The photography is gorgeous. I was inspired by every page and every word. I only wish I had a home to decorate.
If you like "Domino" magazine or the sites: decor8, apartment therapy, poppytalk, and the like then you will enjoy this book. Beautiful color, patterns, and design!
Beautiful Colors, Pictures, I wish enough money and I could hire a designer. I would show a picture or two from this book for inspiration for my bedroom.
