Highland Hearts #4

My Seductive Highlander: A Highland Hearts Novel

Rate this book
In this scintillating novel from the author of My Tempting Highlander (“Another exciting and heartwarming time-travel romance.”—Vonnie Davis), the ladies’ man of Loch Ness meets a hot-tempered lass who sets his heart aflame.

Though part of a legacy of time-traveling sisters, Lilia Sinclair is planted firmly in twenty-first-century Edinburgh. Her granny’s matchmaking with thirteenth-century Highlanders isn’t about to lure her into the past, especially as ancient Scotland enters troubled times. After all, Lilia is blessed—or cursed—with dire prophetic visions. To protect herself, she’s put up an icy emotional wall no man could cross—until a pair of gorgeous, rippling arms breaks right through.

Graham MacTavish is pure trouble. Once the dragon bound to Loch Ness, he’s transformed into a philanderer of the first order. In fact, because of his dalliances with other men’s wives, a rival clan wants his head on a pike. Before he provokes an all-out war, Graham is banished to the twenty-first century, where he must win Lilia’s hand—or return to die. But after meeting a lass as fierce as any Highland warrior, Graham knows one life with Lilia, in any century, is a fate to embrace.

Graham MacTavis has crossed the wrong person and bedded the wrong two women. Graham was caught in the bed of a rival laird's wife and mistress and the Laird is outraged which is understandable. So as his punishment, Graham must go to the future, aid his laird's wife's sister, make her fall in love with him and marry her and keep her happy. Not an easy task especially when it comes to stubborn and willful Lilia Sinclair. Lilia is content with her life, except for the fact that her closest friend and a woman she considers to be family, is dying and there is nothing that she can do to stop it. Lilia's gift is to have prophetic visions and normally they aren't "good" news and she has to bear this burden all on her own except for her two friends who don't necesarily believe her but support her as friends do. Graham and Lilia will learn to trust each other and fight for each other no matter what time they are in...
Plot and Story Line
My my....what a story, now I will say that I was a bit nervous about reading this one. Mostly because even though I enjoyed the previous installments, I really struggled with staying involved in the story and lost a bit of interest in those romances. However My Seductive Highlander was a whopper of a read and I had such a blast reading this one, and boy did it get to my bare emotions so easily. It has been a while since a book has been able to brings tears to my eyes but this one did it and in moments that I least expected it to happen. I do love a time travel romance and man this author knows how to write a good one. Now what I loved about the way she wrote this one, was not seeing the whole "the couple falls in love and are seperated from each other" nope....that did not happen. And this might be the first time in reading a time travel romance that I was fully satisfied with how the plot developed and didn't feel any dissatisfaction over what I was reading. It was a story that you can easily relax into and not worry. The romance was sweet and slow moving, there wasn't much rush to it and I liked how easily these two fell in love and didn't fight too hard. The humorous tone of the story was simply to die for!!! Man I laughed so hard just in how our hero reacts to riding in a car or flushing the toilet??? hehehe yeah those were priceless moments.
The Cover
SIMPLY elegant and classy yet sensual and sexy!!! It also has a quiet strength to it that I love.
Overall View
My Seductive Highlander is a romantic romp that will shed a few tears and bring out bursts of laughter from your lips!!! SEXY AND FUN

As I’ve read the complete Highland Hearts series by Maeve Greyson, I couldn’t resist receiving a NetGalley ARC to review what I believe is the very last book. This author has certainly entertained me with this contemp/Scottish historical romance time travel series, which is not my usual genre, btw.

Though I loved the chemistry of the main couple, the cameo appearances of previous characters, and the on-going Sinclair sisters’ gifts/time travel concept, I reluctantly admit this was my least favorite of the series. Why? Right off the bat, we are presented with Graham, who has put his clan in danger by having a threesome with another clan’s wife and mistress. Yes, he knew who they were. I’m assuming he either thought it was OK as long as he didn’t get caught or wasn’t smart enough to know or care about the consequences of his well-known, skanky, womanizing behavior. Though he fell head over heels for Lilia, the heroine, at first sight, and was even remorseful, it tainted his image in my eyes. I do have to give him credit for his no holds barred, alpha protective nature/determination to marry this lass. He did also always say the sweetest things to her. I just felt that plot set-up went too far.

Which now leads me to bring up other such elements that felt out of place for this author’s writing style. I tolerated Graham’s and Angus’s overly done motion sickness reaction to riding in a car, but had to suppress an eyeroll now and then. Previous character’s response to the same scenario just seemed more natural/believable. What actually ended up tainting the storyline though was the completely unnecessary, crass situations that popped up out of nowhere (i.e. the young highlander lad fondling himself while on guard duty, Lilia introducing Graham to 21st century kinky sex (as if he wasn’t already wild enough), the crude/lewd comment/action of the treed highlander made to Lilia, etc.). I just don’t remember any such material in the other books, so felt it was out of character for this author and not particularly appreciated by this reviewer.

Ultimately, I still enjoyed the main couple romance/premise of the story, but the items I just mentioned lowered my rating. You will have to decide for yourself if it bothers you. Here’s to hoping my review has been helpful in some way. Ms. Greyson continues to be on my favorite author list, but this book wasn’t my favorite of this series.

Rating: MC Romance/devotion to one another: 5 stars; Plot: 4 stars...Rating reduced to 3 stars due to hero's former womanizing behavior/unnecessary crass elements (including sex toys) that didn't seem to mesh with author's writing style.

Title: My Seductive Highlander, Series: Highland Hearts (Book 4), Pages: 240, Author: Maeve Greyson, HEA, stand-alone but part of a series, some violence, time travel, historical Scottish/contemp romance, some VERY steamy scenes with elements not in previous books that may make some uncomfortable, former man ho hero who slept with married women, non-virgin heroine who once tried to commit suicide/suffers bouts of depression.

In the thirteenth Century, Graham McTavish is adjusting to being himself now that he is no longer under the curse that held him captive. But when he sleeps with the wrong women, he discovers that he has brought trouble to his clan. And when the Sinclair women have a vision that Lilia Sinclair needs him in the Twenty-first Century, Graham knows that he must go, and never return. But Graham didn't count on falling for this fiery, strong-willed empath, who suddenly makes his life worth living. And when she must return to the past, he is damned if he will let her go back alone...even if it means risking his life.

Lilia Sinclair knows what it is like to feel alone. As an empath, she has had to guard herself against the world around her. But with the arrival of Graham MacTavish, she cannot help but let the man in. With undeniable chemistry and understanding, their feelings cannot be ignored. And when Lilia loses her guardian, she allows herself to lean on Graham. But when they return to the past, spies are in their midst, and both Lilia and Graham will have to fight until the bitter end. Can they survive or will they lose their chance of love and happiness?

MY SEDUCTIVE HIGHLANDER by Maeve Greyson is the fourth book in the Highland Hearts series, and once again the author delivers. With meticulous detail, I was transported to the Highlands, both past, and present, and completely fell under its spell. Graham and Lilia have both experienced loss and loneliness, and it was wonderful to see two strong, independent characters realise that it was ok to need each other and lean on each other. With plenty of laughter, magic, danger, and sizzlingly passionate encounters, MY SEDUCTIVE HIGHLANDER by Maeve Greyson is romance at its finest, with an ending that will bring a tear to your eye. I cannot wait to see what else Maeve Greyson has got in store for us readers!

13th & 21st Century Scotland

Maeve Greyson does it again in the fourth and final book of the time jumpers, the Sinclair sisters. It is a wonderful Highland Hearts Scottish time-travel series and again another exhilarating read from start to finish!

In this story, Grandmother Sinclair is up to her matchmaking shenanigans again, with her fourth and last unwed granddaughter, Lilia Sinclair.

This book starts with the hero Graham MacTavish who we met in Book3, My Tempting Highlander. He had been released from an evil witch's curse, that had caused him to be a man by day and dragon by night. This bound to him Loch Ness for the past three hundred years! Well, he has been making up for lost time per say, soaking up his wild oats! Unfortunately he was recently caught swiving a nearby Clan Chieftains wife and mistress at the same time! Plus his man Angus has lifted a couple of this chieftain's best roans! So he his Laird MacKenna, Trulie's husband has no choice, as Graham has to either be exiled from Scotland or executed!

The heroine of this story is Lilia Sinclair, she lives in present day the 21st century while all her three sisters live in the 13th century. Granny Sinclair and her sister, Mairi are worried about her. As the elderly woman who has been watching over her is dying. Then Lilia will be all alone and Granny has always sensed she is the one sister to remain in the past.

Now Granny Sinclair is back at her matchmaking ways! She see’s Graham and Lilia as each other's true soul mates. So he must go to the future and remain there plus be able to sweep Lilia off her feet.

This won't be an easy task as Lilia can read people's true feelings and can feel what they feel whether it pain or deceit. It's a big burden to carry another reason her Grandmother and sister are so worried about her once her. So Graham is not only to watch over her, but to marry her in the old pagan way, mixing blood with blood. This will not be an easy task with the independent, suspicious twenty first century woman with special psychic empath abilities!

Sadly this is the last Granddaughter of the series so this is the final book. It's been a wonderful journey as all four books have been absolutely spectacular reads. As I have absolutely loved them all! I highly recommend you read them all as it brings out every emotions from laughter to tears!

Can be read as a stand alone book. I feel it would be more rewarding and fun to read the entire series, to connect all the characters.

I received this ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review through netgalley.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Maeve Greyson's Highland Hearts series with the Sinclair women. This book is Lilia's story. Lilia, Mairi's twin sister and the youngest of the Sinclair sisters, was "gifted" with empathy and sight. In many ways Lilia calls it a curse as she can get overwhelmed by all the feelings emanating from people all around her; both good and bad. She is the last of the sisters to be living in the 21st century; the rest of them, and Granny, are all back in 13th century Scotland. The Sinclairs are a family that were gifted by the gods as time runners. They can move backwards and forwards through time and communicate across the centuries as well. This story brings Graham, from the last book, into 21st century Scotland to protect Lilia by order of clan chief Gray MacKenna and Granny Sinclair.

The story flows well and is well written. It moved at a fast pace. I felt that the author could have added/elaborated so much more in the story to broaden it a bit and not make it feel rushed. That's only my opinion and it didn't detract from the story as it was, only that it could have made it even better. All-in-all a good story. Should you like to read this series, let me say that you should start with the first book in the series, My Highland Lover, as they do connect and follow each other.

I really wish that I could rate a book 3.5 because this one would fit firmly in that camp.

One of my major pet peeves with series is when a book isn't able to stand on its own merits. And I am running into that more and more lately. Thank goodness that MY SEDUCTIVE HIGHLANDER isn't one of those books. I haven't had the pleasure of reading the first three books in this series yet but I so enjoyed this last one that I will be picking up this author's back list.

I especially enjoyed the characters. Graham's confusion with today's world was worth more then one chuckle while Lilia reminded me of a warrior princess. And we can't forget her best friends, Vivienne and Alberti always have her back. Angus is a bumbler but definitely goodhearted.

I do recommend MY SEDUCTIVE HIGHLANDER to my readers who enjoy men in kilts and time travel romances even if you are like me and end up reading the last book first. It makes for an enjoyable escape for the issues of the day.

There should be a rule that all series that come to an end must include tissues. I have followed this series from the first. This is like sending your family away never to be seen again. Lilia is the last of her family in our time. Her Granny in the Highlands, 300 years ago, sent two clan men forward for her to have them safe and Graham to help with her depression. Big Spoiler. This part was fun to watch in the future with them. Eliza lived with Lilia as a godmother to help her. Now she is dying of Cancer and Lilia can't let her go. Race to the tissue box! They go back to spread her ashes even though Graham was not to jump back home. There are lots of action scenes here. Lilia and her best friends play LARPs and enter their Medieval battles. I have lived this series. I loved this time travels. I will admit this is more of an Adult reading. Your choice! Spoilers. If you like some History, Time Travel and falling for these people then this is for you. Please don't let it go by you. Enjoy your reading! I have this book for an honest review for NetGalley.

This has to be the best of the 4 and I truly loved them all. I didn’t want it to end. This book had me laughing out loud with Angus and Graham. A beautiful love story, with time travel, romance, action and steam. My hope is the stories continue!

My Seductive Highlander was enchanting! The first book I've read from Maeve Greyson and now I'm eager to read the rest of her Highland Hearts series. Having never read one of her books before I was pleasantly surprised to find delightful well-developed characters, witty dialogue and banter, a great storyline that was entertaining, yet emotional in all the right places. I found myself laughing out loud, wiping away tears, swooning a bit (okay, quite a bit) over the sexy leading man (hello! Scottish Highlander with a sexy brogue!), shamelessly enjoying the hot sex scenes between Graham and Lilia, and tensing during the battle scenes in 13th century Scotland... all told with a very fluid, engaging writing style. This book truly has it all and I loved every word! 4.5 stars

An interesting read but it just did not work for me. I found myself rushing to finish it so i can move on to other books. The one thing that really bothered me was that this book reads almost exactly like the previous ones.

It's the exact same story with variations in the names. There's always the early resistance, then acquiesce and then the moment they all seem to have at the end. The similarity is uncanny. I just couldn't.

A great ending to the time traveling sisters. I would have given it 5 stars, but there was really no action till the end and it was just slow and kinda boring.

I loved Graham he was so funny in the 21st century. I loved how he would say something was magic or he couldn't believe what it was. He was charming yet awkward all at once. Hot and sexy too.

Lillia was interesting, but I don't think the author touched on her empath powers and how Graham would help her. It felt like that part was left out. I loved her love of animals and how they loved Graham too.

The ending allowed us to see the sisters and their loves for a moment or two.

Good ending great series. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

I received a copy of this book from netgalley for an honest review.

My Seductive Highlander is the fourth and final book in the Highland Hearts series by Ms Greyson. Though these four books could be read as stand alone novels, they are much more seamless when read as a series, in order, especially since each Hero is introduced at least one book prior, except for the first one of course. Also, the Sinclair women are "time runners", which means they can go to any period of time, future or past, and they are witches, with the oldest having all the powers the younger sisters have, plus some of her own. I think other than that, only precognition, or visions of future events, is a gift that more than one of the younger sisters has.

The heroine in My Seductive Highlander is Lilia, the youngest of the sisters. Her witchy gifts are visions and empathy, though she considers it a curse. She lives in modern day Edinburgh, Scotland, where she is part owner of an all natural beauty company. Until her twin Mairi met her husband and moved back to 13th Century Scotland, Lilia shared her house with Mairi and their "guardian", Eliza MacTavish. Now, Mairi is in the past and 90 year old Eliza is in a long term care facility, similar to hospice here in the U.S., dying of lung cancer. Lilia recently found out her business partner had been embezzling from the company, and after he was put in jail, she had lost so much money that it put her expansion plans back by a year, even after taking on two new partners. Those partners, Vivienne and Alberti, are also two of her closest friends.

The Hero of this book starts out as a womanizing pig from the 13th Century, Graham MacTavish. Graham is called before the chieftain of Clan MacKenna because the chieftain of a neighboring clan, Buchanan, wants Graham's head on a pike. Graham slept with the other chieftain's wife AND mistress in the stables of his keep. MacKenna and Buchanan compromise that Graham is to leave Scotland and never return. But since Granny Sinclair had had a vision that Graham was to be Lilia's husband, and she's in the 21st Century, it works out for Granny, manipulator extraordinaire, and the oldest sister to send him forward in time. And in Granny's vision, she sees that his friend Angus should go forward with him, though she's not sure why. In about two weeks time, Granny and the two older sisters try to explain how different the world has become in the 21st Century, so that Graham and Angus might not suffer culture shock quite as bad as Mairi's husband did. They apparently talked so much that it gave the men a headache so they quit listening. The descriptions of Graham's culture shock were hilarious. I was cracking up.

One of the reasons it was so important to get Graham there as soon as they could, was because with Eliza's health deteriorating so quickly, the family was worried about Lilia's mental health, even with Vivienne and Alberti around. They knew Lilia wouldn't open up fully to them, that she needed a person that put her first, that helped her release all the negative emotions she absorbed from people, and the Sinclairs were sure that Graham could be that person for Lilia. Lilia had attempted suicide at some point after Eliza went into the hospital, I believe, so the family had a very good reason to be worried. There were several times when they went to visit Eliza in the hospital that had me crying, because she was introduced in the second book I believe, and she is quite a character!! So for her to have gotten so sick, on her deathbed really, it made me think of people in real life I've known that this has happened to, and also it made me feel for Lilia, having this person who is bigger than life that has been in your life for several years, worn down to almost nothing, not having the strength to even tell you what she wants or needs. That's a very hard road to travel. And Eliza has a major role in this book, in several different ways. But when Lilia wasn't worrying about Eliza, she and Graham were trying to figure out their relationship. From when she first heard his and Angus' surnames, she was positive Granny had sent them and asked them flat out in their first conversation. Good thing they were time travelers or they would have thought she was nuts!! But with some prodding, Graham finally told Lilia all the reasons he was there, except for Granny's vision about them becoming a couple. From there on, they really started working together more, even though she didn't think she needed his protection from depression. There is definitely a feel of before and after to this book, at least to me. A certain event divides everything. Before it's a somewhat strange, in a good way, romance novel, and after it becomes much more action packed, though there is a bit of a build up for that. There are some scenes that are edge of your seat, waiting to see what happens next type action. I was engaged throughout the book though.

Ms Greyson has a way of adding emotion to her writing that makes it all the more real to me. I laughed, I bawled my eyes out, and I smiled through most of the book. I will say that I highly recommend having some tissues close at hand while you read this, especially if you are a fan of the series! And I definitely recommend you read this if you are a fan, as that it ties up some loose ends and gives you a glimpse of all four sisters and their husbands. If you haven't yet read the other books, that doesn't mean you should pass this by. Of course I'm going to tell you that everything will make more sense if you start at the first book, but if you absolutely don't want to do that, you could still read this; you just won't get the full explanation to time runners and how their gifts work. This installment of Highland Hearts may be my favorite so far, even if I did cry like a baby. The paranormal elements are actually pretty light, the biggest things being Lilia's empathy and the time running, so if you're not a fan of paranormal romance, you could still read this without much trouble. People that are fans of paranormal, I would consider this paranormal lite. There are a few elements, but nothing like shapeshifters, vampires, or any of the other big ones except witches. I'd recommend this to anyone over 18, because there are some pretty intense intimate scenes!

Now it's Lilia's turn to meet her soul mate. She has a successful business in the twenty first century, even though someone she thought as a friend embezzled from her. This happens a few years before the story starts. Lilia always suffered from depression, it's not easy being an Empath and being hit with other's emotions constantly, but when her friend betrayed her it grew much worse. Naturally, she develops trust issues, too.

Graham had a threesome with a neighboring clan's wife and mistress. The Chieftan does not appreciate Graham doing that with both his women, and calls for Graham's head. Gray gets him to agree to banishment, so off Graham goes to twenty first century Scotland with the promise that if he returns his head will be on a pike by the cuckholded Chieftan. He can never return to the thirteenth century.

Granny sends him forward with the caveat he must win Lilia's heart within thirty days, or he will be pulled back to the thirteenth century.

Lilia takes everything in stride, and she's pretty cool.

When Eliza dies, the person who was with the girls in the twenty first century, Lilia is charged with spreading her ashes on the shores of her childhood home... back in thirteenth century. Now, this is what I don't get and why a star has been taken off, Graham decides to follow her because she can't face this alone. Yet, if Graham goes with Lilia she can't see her family because Gray made an oath to send Graham to Chief Cuckhold if Graham dares to show his face in thirteenth century Scotland. After this stupid decision... I mean, why couldn't he drop Lilia off with her family who could help her with Eliza's last wish? Hubris, okay, that made me like him less. Just silly on his part, adding the extra danger because of course they got caught.

Other than that, this book made me laugh out loud quite a few times. Oh my, the scene at the center where they were sparring with play swords, that was some hilarious tit-for-tat. I appreciate a good laugh.

I will definitely read more from this author.

Graham......sigh! I just love a strong alpha male with the ability to melt you with his words. Graham is ALL that and a bag of chips! Some of the things he tells Lilia in this book just stole my breath and my heart!
This is the 4th and last if the series based on the Sinclair sisters, and what a wonderful end to the saga!
Lilia is plagued with the gift of empathy and is the last remaining sister back in 21st century Edinburgh. Her ability to fight the debilitating darkness resulting from her gift has been severely threatened with the inevitable passing of her guardian and companion Eliza.
Though she has 2 wonderful friends that swear to stay by her side, she knows they must both move on with their own lives soon and the thought of being left alone is a bleak one. But Granny Sinclair has been given a vision by the Fates, and Graham McTavish will be the savior of her beloved Lilia's heart and soul.
After having spent centuries trapped in a dragon form by day, he has been busy making up for lost time and causing havoc for the McKenna clan. After his last debacle, Graham must be sent away to avoid causing war between rhe McKennas and the neighbouring clan. What better time for him to travel to the future to meet his destiny!
Graham along with his friend Angus are sent forward to 21st century Edinburgh to ensure peace and to help Lilia in her time of need.
Graham never breaking a vow, takes the task of seeing to Lilia's needs to heart and when he meets her, his soul recognizes it's true mate. He knows and understands the bleakness facing Lilia and knows he can help if the stubborn lass would just let her guard down for him!
Once again Greyson gives us some fascinating and hilarious insight on what a 13th century man's reaction to modern times might be. And the developing of the relationship between Lilia and Graham is lovely.
Really enjoyed this book and thought it was a wonderful end to the seires.

Highland Hearts #4

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lilia Sinclair may be part of a legacy of time traveling sisters, but she's firmly planted in twenty-first-century Edinburgh. There is no way that her Granny's matchmaking with 13th century highlanders isn't about to lure her into the past, especially now that ancient Scotland enters troubled times. Lilila is blessed or cursed with prophetic visions and empathy. To protect herself, she has put up a protective emotional wall that no man can shatter. At least up until now.

Graham MacTavish has been nothing but trouble lately. Once he was a dragon bound to Loch Ness, but now that he is a man again, he has turned into quite the ladies' man causing a stir. In fact, because of his dalliances with other men's wives, a rival clan wants his head on a spike. Before an all-out war starts, Graham is banished to the twenty-first century, where he must win first Lilia's heart, then hand or return to die. But right away after meeting the sweet Lilia, who's as fierce as any Highland warrior, Graham knows one thing: life with Lilia in any century is something to be embraced and cherished.

Holy cow, Maeve Greyson gets better and better with every book I read from this talented author. This was a fantastic book that held my attention from the first page until the last page. It was like I was right there once again feeling like I was part of this amazing family. The two main characters were perfect for each other and well matched. Neither of them shied away from a fight no matter how tough it could be. There were so many twists and turns that I didn't see coming. I wish this wasn't the last of the Sinclair sisters because this was an amazing series. If you enjoy time travel and history, then look no further. This is the book you will want to read.

I hadn't read the rest of this series and when I requested it on NetGalley I had no idea it was part of a series (from what I can remember, I requested and reviewed this a while back..). I had also never read Greyson's work before and was curious. And I was in a time period romance/magical phase and this looked right up my alley.

The Sinclair clan is a group of very powerful witches who all have special skills and each find their way to love in various magical and witchy ways. Lila ends up in the thirteenth century via witchy grandmothery ways and is confronted with he destiny: Graham McTavish, a womanizing Highlander. Both have their reasons for not wanting to fall in love, but begin to against their wishes.

My Seductive Highlander was actually a very cute romance and I remember enjoying it very much. It was perhaps a stereotypical historical romance with some magic and neat time travel written into the mix. While not ground breaking, Greyson writes a mean piece of fiction that you can help but put down and it seems can still be memorable well after a read.

I loved how while this novel was stereotypical, it was somehow still fresh and enjoyable. I found myself wanting to read the rest of the series because each Sinclair woman still displayed a strong sense of self even though this was undoubtedly a Lila/Graham tale. Also, I was surprised to find some of the emotional turmoil to be heart-tuggers and couldn't help but want our main characers to have a happily ever after.

You might even learn a little Scottish history if you're woefully under educated in all things Scotland like I am. I was surprised to have read a romance and come out of it with a little bit of knowledge.

Thank you to NetGalley and Loveswept for a copy to of this book to review.

My Seductive Highlander is the 4th and last novel in The Highland Hearts series. I've read all the previous books in this series and this one is my 3rd favorite.
The storyline is very similar to the previous books. In this book, we read about the seductive beau, Graham MacTavish, who used to be a dragon banished to the Loch Ness. He's gained his freedom and now has developed a penchant for seducing other men's wives causing himself to get banished once more. In order to come back home, he must find and gain Lilia Sinclair's love. He agrees to the deal because he figures it will be easy, but one look at the fiery and headstrong Lilia sets Graham's heart aflame! Lilia, the last Sinclair sister has a gift that she deems a curse. She doesn't allow any man close to her heart for fear of what she may see. But, despite Lilia's well-built wall of ice, Graham scorches through it and there's nothing else they can do but fall into the deep abyss that is love. Granny's meddling has won again!
I adored reading about Graham, the ex-dragon, though I wish he would've kept his dragon powers. That would've been amazing...and hilarious to read about. With that said, this is the one book in the series that I thought could've been more in-depth with the characters. I didn't find myself as intensely intrigued as I thought I would, but I still enjoyed the story.
I would recommend romance readers give this series a try because it is entertaining.

**SPOILER ALERT**

Lilia and Graham are the main characters in Maeve Greyson's final installment to her Highland Hearts series, and I'm here to say I found their story to be sorely lacking.

Graham is sent to the future to woo and marry Lilia, the final Sinclair sister. The attraction is immediate and their love is as deep as it is true, yada yada yada.... Same story we've heard from every other romance novel.

Maeve Greyson is such a talented author, and it really bothers me to give such a low rating to this story, especially since I enjoyed the other books in this series (I haven't managed to find Trulie's story yet, but I'm determined). There was so much that needed to be said in this book that wasn't.

Another thing that bothered me, Lilia and Graham having to stay in the 21st century! I loved the other sisters deciding to forego modern society and all of its perks for the loves of their lives. I wonder exactly how Graham is suppose to assimilate into modern Scotland....?

Last but not least, the epilogue infuriated me! I won't even go into details about it, but suffice it to say, the epilogue only raised more questions than it answered.

What a wonderful final book of 'A Highlander Hearts Novel'. Each story can be read as a stand alone, but once you read one, you will want to read the rest of them. "My Seductive Highlander" is romance, drama, suspense, and all of the things we love about people and clans in historical Scotland. Graham is such a hot, take charge, and fun character that meets his match in Lilia. She is one kick-a** woman that knows her own mind. I loved the connection between the H and the h, with the real story being enriched by the two of them going back in time to visit family at a time of mourning and healing while fighting a neighboring clan. Of course, we will see a HEA between the H and the h, but which time will it be in? If this is your genre, then I encourage you to pick this one up for a great read. Thank you to NetGalley and Loveswept for gifting me "My Seductive Highlander" and asking for my honest opinion. This is mine. 5 Stars!!

“Daren’t ye die! I love ye. I swear to the gods I love ye and I’ll ne’er let ye go.”
“I beg ye. Ye must not die. I canna live without ye.”

I bawled my eye balls out. I had to wipe the blurry tears out so I could read! (Sniff)

🤧😭😭😭

Aw man! Pls help me out..
And in 21 century, do people still speak this way? "Ye", as If they were from 13th century....🤯

Poor Graham didn't understand that Alberti were Gay.

Graham ❤️ Lilia

What a grand ending. I so truly loved this series. I'm not fan of paranormals and time travels. But this win me.

This book started off very strong and interesting. The character development was not very strong, but that might be because I have only read this book and not the ones that came before it. So, for that reason I didn't consider that info as part of my review. The story had a lot of potential in my eyes and I really enjoyed the first half of the book. However, once I got to the second half I feel the story line started to struggle and was not developed. The ending of the book was very disappointing as everything was very rushed and jumped around. I would describe the end as the author was tired of writing the book and just figured it was time to quickly bring it to a close.

I received this book from Netgalley. I really love this series. It's captivating and intriguing and highly entertaining, you'll laugh and you'll cry. Graham is so cute, he just falls head over heels in love with Lilia, tripping over himself to get there. Lilia is the last of the Sinclair sisters to find love and happiness, and the the only one left in the 21st century. This book is romantic and funny and sweet and heartbreaking. A must for your TBR list.

Excellent story with a beautiful ending! I loved reading about each of the Sinclair sisters and finding/manipulated by Granny their other halves. The final sister, Lilia , has an interesting story and the family has grown. I loved the series and highly recommend them but have Kleenex handy because they will make you cry a bit. Yes, there is action, love and even a bit of humor but the stories are excellent!

Another book that was almost impossible to put down. There is so much love and joy filling these pages. The Sinclair sisters story continues with Graham and Lilia. We meet new characters that are quirky and fun and we learn about what the other sisters have been up to.

It was a lovely book which I thoroughly enjoyed. I look forward to reading the series again- it was that enjoyable.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for this honest review.

Review of My Seductive Highlander

This was a fast paced book that ties everything in this series together. Lilia and Graham are the last couple who have to jump thru many hoops on the way to building their lives together. The McKenna Clan, Sinclairs and spouses suffer losses that definitely change their lives. Perfect end to this series!!

Great read

I just loved this book about Lilia and Graham, good storyline, plenty going off. It was both funny and sad. I am sad there are no more Highland hearts books but hope Maeve brings some more similar books out. Have read a lot of her books and they never disappoint, brilliant author.

My Seductive Highlander (Highland Hearts- Book 4)

This book, amazing! It made me laugh and it made me cry! The only thing I hate about reading the last book of the series, I'll miss the characters. Each book keeps all the characters from the previous books in each story. I absolutely love v this author!! Well Done!

I just finished the fourth book in the Highland hearts saga. There are many heartwarming moments to this series. The four sisters that are noted in the books are great characters. The hunk of a husband that they all acquire are drool worthy. The storylines are compelling and intriguing. I thoroughly enjoyed this series.

Another romp in time

I've enjoyed each book in this series. Maeve Greyson is a gifted writer and story teller. She combines humor with action and violence even. My only drawback is her raw love scenes. Her crude language.
But, her adventurous gifted storyline keeps you engaged.
