The idea behind developing this book was to help students of fashion , pattern makers , seamstresses , home makers and everyone of its readers to understand pattern making and garment construction in an easy way . Patterns are always developed before cutting and sewing any garment so that the pattern can be used for quick reference for any future use and also to manipulate the basic design into more advanced designs . I hope this book serves the purpose and my efforts to make pattern making simpler delivers its results for pupils who use it.
