I have been dying to read this book!
From the first page you are thrown right back into Cain and Evan's story. It's a very powerful story and intense journey.
We find that Cain and Evan are certainly feeling the effects of what has happened. It has really taken a toll on them both.
Evan is broken. She feels lost in the world and is lacking the control that she needs. She has lost her spark and dominance that she needs to get through a world without Cain.
Cain is certainly not much better than Evan. His life has been turned upside down. With so many murders taking place, his mind is crowded with unanswered question and feelings of total confusion. but his priority will always be Evan. He is determined to win her back, but little does he know, it won't be that easy.
Evan needs Cain to win back her trust and loyalty and that's not something a simple apology will fix. No, he must earn it and that means handing all control over to her.
This story features some of the hottest scenes that I've read. Seriously, these two are just too hot for words at times.
It also answers questions from book one by going a little deeper into the past. We learn more about Lucy, Nicole and Caleb. Evan and Cain aren't left out, there are still several secrets to uncover.
I knew the moment I started that I would be on the edge of my seat. That certainly happened and my emotions were all over the place.
Lilly Black likes to keep you guessing. There's always something lurking in the shadows trying to take away Evan and Cain's happiness. You just never know when or what's going to happen.
I am so ready for book 3. My brain is going crazy here!

Omg i was waiting for this book for so long and let me tell you that it didn't disappointed me. The story between Cain and Evan continue.
I loved every word of it, every chapter that i finished i wanted more, i couldn't put it down..
Lilly your words hit the proper places.
This book is so full of mystery, suspense, drama and hot as hell.
It made me see that we can find a light in the end of the tunnel until....
I'm anxious for the next book, because i have so many questions that need to be answer.
Please Lilly Black hurry up because i want more, i need more.

OMG I am struggling to put into words how great this book is and what a talented, amazing author Lilly Black truly is.
Evan and Cain's story has just got a whole lot more intense so fasten your seat belts fellow readers as we are taken one hell of a roller coaster with no sign of Lilly turning the off button.
Evan is coming onto her own and starting to know her true self and opening up more than ever. There are so many things that are getting thrown at Evan and Cain in a bid to split them up but it is having the reverse effect as the outsiders are just adding more fuel to the fire that is growing between them and for one another. With both Cain and Evan both battling demons that in a weird way are helping them go forward.
This book is a intense read and will keep you gripped from start to finish.
I must warn you there is a cliffhanger I am so glad that i had book 3 ready to hand.

This is not your every day BDSM novel! Cain is not your typical Dom who likes to tie up and whip his submissive. Well, he actually does love to do that, but here's where he's different. He's also a submissive to his Domina, Evan. I love that aspect of the novel.
In the first book, Evan had some issues in a sexual nature and thought she was ruined for life. Until she met Cain.
I won't go into too much detail because it would ruin the book, but I will tell you that there's an ongoing murder mystery, TONS of hot, dirty sex scenes, and one hell of a cliffhanger! ARGH! Why must you do this to me, Lilly?

In A Deeper Shade of Jade the murders continue and how can Cain keep Jade safe? The police are sure that he is the culprit, which adds to the suspense and tension. In his attempt to keep her safe, he tries to distance himself. But how can two people that are meant to be stay apart? Their lives and feelings are too intertwined.
Lilly has done it again, keeping the reader glued to their seat or bed or wherever they are reading this page turner. Another great read!! I can’t wait for next book in the series!

Author Lilly Black does it again. The story picks up on the roller-coaster ride book one left us on. The story of Evan and Cain has you on the edge of your seat right from the first word. This pulls at so many emotions : love , anger, lust and sorrow. The storyline with the secondary characters has you wanting more of their story as well. The unpredictable cliffhanger wants book three out yesterday.

I was privileged to receive an ARC from the author and I loved this book! For readers of erotic romance with BDSM themes, you really can't go wrong here. It is much better than Fifty Shades trilogy and the cliffhangers make those look like child's play. The sex is so hot it sizzles off the pages. I liked the first book in this series but this one is even better. Go buy it because you won't regret it!

This book picks up right where book 1 left off at. Cain and Evan goes thought a lot of twists and turns and more ladies are killed off Boundaries are pushed and who will get what? You will have to read this to find out I love this series so far

OMG!!
LOVED this book!! As the story of Evan and Cain continues in this second book, it follows the ups and downs and some steamy scenes of their relationship. The ending is definitely not what I expected, but that's a good thing. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
