Chasing a Wolf is book four in the Moonbound series by Krystal Shannan and Camryn Rhys. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by one of the authors.

This book was so different from the first three. It started out humorous but quickly escalated into probably the most intense of the books so far as our group of enforcers gets closer to finding the evil man we now know as Adrian who has been taking women and holding them prisoner.

hut:

Tomas Rivera is on his own as he finds his way up the mountain with his guide to speak to the elders of a mountain village about any information they might have on finding Adrian. But Tomas’s visit to the village turns out nothing as he anticipated as he is told he must first visit the ‘sex tent’ to see if his Fated mate is here. Tomas is forced into the tent where he is visited by the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. But, she wasn’t supposed to be one of the women to visit him that day. She was the chief’s daughter, but now she is Tomas’s wife!

woman with flowers:

Citlani will do whatever it takes to get someone to help her to find her mother who has disappeared. Even if it means giving herself to this stranger. Her mother has been missing and no one will help her search for her. As Citlani and Tomas travel down the mountain together, the connection they share begins to grow and the bond begins to form. But Citlani has been raised to fear emotional bonds. To keep herself closed off.

“It was overwhelming to feel so much, but she wasn’t alone. She’d never be alone again.”

native dance:

Citlani and her mother’s ties to Adrian are revealed. Tomas calls in the rest of the enforcers to help him as he is finally closing in on Adrian. Will they be able to save Citlani’s mother? Will they finally capture the evil Adrian? And what about after? Citlani has never left the mountain or seen civilization. But they are bonded now, they can’t be apart. Will Tomas be forced to give up everything he knows and stay on the mountain with Citlani?

wolves fighting:

As I said before, this one started out with humor as Tomas was forced into the sex tent but as he and the enforcers close in on Adrian, things became very intense. I am really enjoying this series and can’t wait to start book five, Seducing a Wolf with will be Alejandro’s story.

REVIEW

**May contain spoilers**

The enforcers have all taken different paths into the mountains to try to find the shifter who has been kidnapping women. Tomas whom I have to say I didn't like has now found me liking him. He has gone into a village where all that is talked about is some tent. He has no clue what is going to happen until its to late. Citlani has done something she should not have but she must save her mother. Her father and the man/shifter she was to have married do not care but perhaps Tomas will? Citlani is confused by Tomas' need to touch and feel as she has never had this. Can Tomas open her eyes to what should be between mates? Can he keep her safe from the male who thinks he has a claim on her?
This book as the previous in this series is all based on enforcers each finding their way , finding their mate and trying to find the culprit responsible for the loss of many women. It was slow at first for me but then it picked up. It became a very explosive short story. Enjoyed it.

I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review.

With fire erupting between them and igniting passion and desire, Tomas and Citlani don’t realize that the closer they get to locating Lani’s mother the closer they are to danger in this riveting paranormal romance.

Spine tingling tension grips the readers from the very beginning of this fast paced tale as Tomas finds himself in a bit of an unorthodox situation that has some scorching desires erupting and excitement building as Tomas agrees to help Lani find her mother which has emotional turmoil as well as passion flaring out of control while the danger to them escalates when they come face to face with the madman Tomas and the group of enforcers have been looking for.
Once again, the strong, bewitching characters grab a hold of the readers and refuse to let go as they give them an exhilarating ride full of suspense and passion although, I do wish the stories were longer because I really hate for the stories to end.

Sex tent.

That's what starts it all.

The group of enforcers sent to Mexico were told of people living in the mountains that would come down once called upon by the book provided by the priest. Instead of allowing that to happen the team splits up to check out different areas. Tomas decides to go up this mountain near Choaca and check them out to be sure that they would be people who would help and not hurt.

Once he is being led to the Village by a man named Zolin, he is told that he must enter the "sex tent" to see if his mate lies within their village. After essentially being drugged, he is sitting in the tent waiting on the women to begin entering to test their magick. Only the woman who enters is a princess... And promised to another.

Citlani, the princess, is desperate to find her mother who disappeared and her father nor Zolin will help to find her. The ceremony in the sex tent is more than just trying to find a mate, its a marriage ceremony and Citlani uses it to her advantage and marries a clueless Tomas. She will gladly give her body to him as long as he helps. As soon as Citlani tells Tomas what has happened she makes him run trying to escape. Especially when she tells him she was promised to Zolin.

Once he finds them and the truth is out, Zolin forces the mate bond on the two making Tomas absolutely responsible for Citlani's protection but Tomas would have done it anyways once he realizes she is another one of Adrian's children.

As they go down into Choaca, Tomas feels strong magick but Citlani keeps hiding hers. Her mother taught her to never bond to a man much less trust them. They soon understand why she was hidden and why Citlani's mother left to protect her.

Finally facing Adrian they see that he is a lot stronger than expected and has more cards up his sleeve.

I found the emotions in this one very suited to the situation they've found themselves in. It also shows that some cultures view sex differently that others. The stories can only get better from here and im excited to see what they've come up with next!!

Thomas Rivera and his team of enforcers decide to split up and cover more ground in their search for Adrian, the pyscho wolf who has been kidnapping wolves and doing evil things to them. Little did he expect to have to go up a mountain and into a Sex tent, but to speak with the elders he must go along with it. The tent is to learn if his mate is in their Huichol village.. What??? lol

Citlani (Lani) is the princess daughter of the Huichol Chief in the village, or is she?He can be overprotective in a dangerous way though. When her mom goes missing her father won't help find her so Lani takes things into her own hands, she must escape the mountain to look for her mom. Her first stop for a way to hide her identity and find help is the Sex tent. She must find a stranger and bond with him to escape. Lani needs this to happen now before her father finds out, he did betrothed to Zolin. But she never expected to find her Fated mate..

They mate and ran....

When Zolin, his guide up the mountain but so much more, finds Tomas and Lani he not only tries to take Lani back he also reveals a truth about Lani's mom. She wasn't taken, she ran away, he lied. Citlani must never be found by her father, he would hurt her since his heart was as he put it " blacker than demons from Hell" so she ran to keep her safe.

And so their journey begins to find her mom and Adrian, Zolin just happens to come along.

This is the 4th book in the Moonbound Series and I had so much fun reading this one. Awesome Series and it keeps getting better and better each book.

I was graciously gifted this book for an honest review.

The Moonbound wolves are still on the trail of the psychotic wolf who kidnapped young female wolves and used them in a brothel. When the girls escaped their children became unbonded wolves, several of which have now been found and claimed as part of other packs. In Mexico Tomas has headed to the hills in search of answers. When he enters a village he is taken to the "sex tent" and made to choose a mate. When a delectable morsel rocks his world she then hits him with the news that he has just defiled the chiefs daughter and gets him to flee with her.

Citlani is the sheltered daughter of the chief. Her mother was one of the female who ran from the brothel and she has now gone missing. Lani is desperate to find her and decides that Tomas is her Knight in furry armour!

Will they manage to save Lani's mother from the clutches of the big bad wolf? WIll Tomas settle into his role as Lani's mate? Will they ever make it back to the city and meet up with the rest of the scattered team?

This book is at turns laugh out load, tearful, full of suspense and chock full of passion. Tomas and Lani are lightning in a bottle. The stoic and stable Zolin is wonderful as her other put upon suitor! Quick, fun read with something for everyone!!!

Chasing a Wolf is the fourth book in the Moonbound series by Krystal Shannan and Camryn Rhys. The search is still on for the evil werewolf Adrian. Each of the enforcers are in different parts of Mexico searching for the mountain men the priest told them about in book three The Werewolf Ranger. This story is about Tomas Rivera's hunt for them. It's safe to say he was completely unprepared for the customs of the mountain people. He is truly not ready for the "sex tent" or for finding a mate. Citlani needs to find a way to get down the mountain to rescue her missing mother. She also needs help. She sets a plan into motion that will change everyone's life. She is so naive and sheltered that she can't even begin to see or understand the impact of her plan. Krystal and Camryn have done a great job of keeping the characters, suspense, laughter, trust, anger, lust, heartache and love fresh in each new book in the series. The timeline in the epilogue is a bit worrisome as to what it means for the other characters. As all the previous books were written picking up from a few days or weeks from each epilogue. I can't wait to read about how the group finds their mates and how they finally destroy Adrian.

Chasing a Wolf (Moonbound, #4)
by Krystal Shannan & Camryn Rhys

Tomas Rivera is the son of the Vegas pack and pack enforcer. He feels he has plenty of time to find a mate and is in no hurry to do so. For now his time is better spent looking for the psycho wolf, Adrian. He and the other members of his team have been sent out to different mountain villages looking for the men who helped a priest chase Adrian off from Guatemala. He meets Zolin, a Huichol warrior and guide, who takes him to the Huichol village. Tomas wants to speak with the village elders, but is told he has to go through a ceremony first. He must go to the s-e-x tent to see if he can find his mate in the village. He finds so much more.

Citlani is the daughter of the Huichol Chief. Her mother is married to the chief but not mated to him. Lani's mother goes missing and no one will go look for her. So Lani takes things into her own hands. When a stranger comes to visit and is put in the s-e-x tent, Lani sees her chance to get the stranger to help her. Only she gets more then she thought she would.

It's the Las Vegas Enforcers turn to taste some of the magic!

Thomas takes it upon himself to got to the mountains in Mexico and see if he can get some information on the evil Adrian Rossi. He even gets a translator to take him to the chief, so he can try and get some information. Little does he know that he has to go through special baths and a very special tent before he gets to see the chief... But what the heck, if it will help get rid of that scurge of the earth, he'll endure some customs. But those customs are nothing like he imagined!

Catlani has always been taught by her mother since she was a child to never let a man in, all they want is sex, no emotions, just sex. So why is she having all those different feelings inside when she is next to that stranger?

They are now getting closer to finding Adrian, but what will it cost Thomas?

Man is this series getting good, so much suspense, fun and passion I can't put them down and although I want them to put an end to the evil, I don't want these stories to end Moon Bound is a very passionate and suspenseful series!

Very exciting!!! That is the best way to describe this one. We get to meet a very strange mountain tribe with a "sex tent," that leads to a very interesting situation. But one thing leads to another and he's on the run with Lani as they try and track down her mother. Now this will all tie back to the hunt for this bad guy (who has a name now) and this is where we really start to get close - but that's all I'm going to tell you about him.

Tomas and Lani are thrown together rather suddenly, but that happens to werewolves that know immediately when they find their mate. Even though this was rather sudden, Lani and Tomas complimented each other very well. There were some language issues that I could never quite figure out. I believe three were spoken, but I couldn't keep track of who was speaking what and who could understand who through all of it.

This was a very action-packed portion of the series, but that didn't seem to distract from the romance. In this case, it was what really drew them together.

CHASING A WOLF(Moonbound Series #4) by Camryn Rhys/Krystal Shannan

Tomás Rivera is enforcer for the Vegas Pack. When he goes up the mountain in search of information, he comes across a weird ritual and meets the mysterious Citlani. But no sooner has he arrived to talk to the elders, he is been rushed into leaving. When Tomás finds out Lani's reasons for leaving her home so abruptly and her situation, he figures out it ties in with his mission. Even with the danger closing in, they must battle their enemies while still fighting for what they believe in, as well as each other.

This was an interesting read. I found this storyline the most fascinating out of the books in this series so far, due to the 'tent ritual'. I loved the characters, and I will miss one in particular that I thought may have his own story. Overall very enjoyable!

My New Favorite in the Moonbound series!!

Tomas goes into the mountains in search of clues of the unbonded wolves. Citlani is the chief’s daughter, who is frantically looking for her mother but no one will help. She and Tomas become closely involved and he offers to help her find her mother while continuing his quest. Citlani must learn how to deal with Tomas as he is not how she was taught all men are.

As they travel into the city where they hope to find her mother, danger also comes closer and Citlani must learn to cope as she has previously never left the jungle and even things such as elevators are a mystery to her. The chemistry between Tomas and Citlani is hot and touching as they continue to work to complete the mission.

The story of Tomás and Citlani (Lani) has been the most suspenseful and action packed in the series so far. As the search for the monster who captured young girls for nefarious reasons continues, Tomás is thrown together with his mate, Lani before he even intended on seeking one. There is definitely humor in the process that Tomás was tricked into in the "selecting" of his mate, as evidenced by how he felt about how the tribe's women were paraded out for him: "He felt like Goldilocks, only his porridge was boobs."

Though the story takes a tragic turn, it all works for the overall relationship of Tomás and Lani...in her learning to trust her mate and adjust to a new way of life. I am now anxious for the next installment in the Moonbound series to see how the search for this monster progresses.

This book was provided by the Author for my honest review. The above is my own opinion.

Book 4 of the Moonbound Series has the palpable air of secrets being discovered! Tomas Rivera is an enforcer sent up into the mountains of Mexico to discover information on the unbonded wolves and sets in motion actions that have devastating consequences but answers a few more questions for the team. Citlani is the daughter of the chief and using sexual manipulation tries to influence Tomas into helping find her missing mother but in truth she is Tomas' mate and so as the hunt begins they must also struggle against the pull of the bond.. Once again each character is written so full and rich with personality, strength and scorching need that once started the books are a struggle to set down until finished! Can't wait for Book 5 and more answers!!

Tomas is looking for information, not a mate. When he goes to a remote community in Mexico for information, he is required to try to find his mate before he can talk with the elders. He doesn't expect to enjoy the process so much. Lani has decided to be his mate and get him to help her on her quest to locate her mother. He really doesn't get much of a choice in the matter but it doesn't take long for him to want to help her in her task. Together, they face danger and get some more of the answers they were looking for.

It is a pretty quick read and the action keeps you interested. It never slows down. I had not read the other stories and was able to follow along just fine. I enjoyed the epilogue a lot.

This book is a little different from the ones that came before. Tomas is on a mission to get information about the unbonded wolves that have been found. In a remote village in Mexico he ends up having sex with Lani, who is the chief's daughter. Before he knows it he is mated with her and trying to find her mother who is a part of the unbonded wolf mystery. What follows is a nasty battle which results in the loss of several lives. In the chaos, the bad guy gets away. This is the first time that we get information on what happens to our mates in the future. The end of the book skips to the future, but leaves us still not knowing what happens to the bad guy.

In the 4th book of this Moonbound Series we have Tomas, an enforcer for the Vegas Pack searching for a clue to find the horrible shifter that has kidnapped little girls, held them until he could breed them and torture them. What's left of their team has split up to find the "mountain people". He found a tribe but also found his mate Lani, the princess of the pack. She tricks him into a "marriage" just so he will help her find her mother that disappeared. The plot thickens...there is a lot of action and a whole lotta heated romance between the two newly mated wolves.

This is the fourth book in the Moonbound series. It takes place in Vegas and follows the story of the main werewolf characters, Tomás Rivera and Citlani (or Lani for short), the beautiful werewolf from the small mountain tribe Tomás and his group are investigating.
Soon after they meet, under strange circumstances that leaves Tomás wondering if they are truely Fated Mates, they discover that they are indeed meant for each other after all.
This is the fourth book for me by this author and I really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it to others that are looking for werewolf/paranormal books.

Tomas, the Vegas pack enforcer, goes into the mountains to see if the people there know about the evil man they are hunting. Citlani places Tomas in a delicate position and asks him for help to find her mother in the nearby town. Tomas does not realize assisting Citlani places them all in greater danger.

Book 4 in Moonbound brings us more clues to the evil wolf and his location. This is also a story of Citlani, another daughter of Adrian's, and her journey to finding peace and a place in life.

Werewolves, hidden tribesmen, and a nasty evil werewolf on the prowl.
Tomas has never really wanted a gated mate. He figured he would have time like his father. Who found his as thirty two. Then he would go from being an enforcer to alpha of the pack....then worry abou his fated.
But when his fated literally drops in on him, and sets his world on fire. He has no choice to man up and help her find a loved one.
Will he be able to keep her safe while searching for her loved one? Or will she become part of the evil werewolves harem of girls he is collecting for his own purpose?

Chasing a Wolf is book #4 in the Moonbound Series. I loved this book.

Vegas pack enforcer, Tomás Rivera is on the trail of a very dangerous man Adrian when he meets Lani who is determined to find her mom who has been taken.

This book is very intense but has some humor written in. The storyline and character development is great. I was caught up in the characters and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen. I couldn't put this book down.

This is the 4th book in this series
I did not like Tomas in the last book but he sure changed my mind in this one. Tomas is in the mountains to search for any information about the brothel, add in a sex tent and everything changes. Lani just wants to find her mother and uses Tomas to do just that, bonding and losing loved ones was not planned but oh what a story to tell the grandkids

I have to be honest, I didn't connect to this story as well as the others in the series. When I read SEX TENT, I though whoa...but it went downhill after that. I just didn't feel the connection between Tomas and Citlani. To me the storyline stalled. Just not enough detail to push the story forward. If not for the epilogue I would have starred it lower.

This book is Tomas and Citlani's book. Tomas took the mission to go look for the mountain people. Boy does he find them. I really enjoyed this book. Lani is raised Huichol. In the mountains. And so you go through her and Tomas emotions with them. And there is no society games. I think you will enjoy these. Reading them in order. I have, and I am headed to book 5 now. Happy reading!!!!

It's so sad that she lost her mom and her close protector of her friend. She jumped the gun by having sex with him but u can't fight fate. That psycho sum how is able 2 withstand bullets that should have filled him. Thank God the others were ok and healed. It's sad that she was taught not trusting any man cause of the abuse her mom put up with most of her life. It's good that they named their son after her friend. Even though she didn't love him she wanted 2 stay friends with him cause he was still her protective cause of her mom's request.

The look at other were cultures we get in this book is so interesting and adds to the intrigue and enjoyment of this instalment. Following on the story line of the hunt, I loved the twists and turns this book took, having lani, her family and Tomas and their stories was such an engrossing and fresh look on the world. Another great read from these two amazing authors, keep up the good work guys 😊
