"The Prince's Forbidden Lover" is the story of Joline and Rais.

Our H is the Minister of Finance to Kingdom of Samara, and a protective brother to his siblings. When his sister's friends come to visit, he never expects the "Jo" to be a gorgeous woman, or fall head over heels in lust with her. As he is forbidden to pursue her at the palace, he chases her to her hometown and ultimately seduces her. But when he proposes marriage and asks her to give up her career, the h vehemently refuses and leaves him. Will he be able to grovel his way back into her heart?

Sweet h, chauvinistic and confused H, loads of family secrets and dysfunctional mothers, drama and a HEA.

Good one time read. Adorable epilogue.

I loved the beginning where Shantra introduces her friends to Rais and the threat she used on him was pretty funny, so that he stays away from Jo. It was a good book. What I did not like about Rais is that he railroaded Joline, whether it came to her business or her fellings for him. It does not bode well that he never listened to her. He made all the decisions. The relationship seemed very unbalanced. Jo also seemed pretty spineless when it came to Rais. Everytime she disagreed with him, he had sex with her or kissed her. It was that easy to make her look stupid. He treated her like she was some brainless bimbo. He keeps admitting to her that he considers her intelligent, but his actions prove otherwise. All of Jo’s objections regarding not marrying Rais were completely valid. Errors were present like tge one below, where the wrong gender pronoun was used - He leaned back, his mind dismissing the fact that she’d just hung up on the French Prime Minister

This sentence just infuriated me - Enough of this ‘trust’ issue. Joline was stubborn, but he was more stubborn. He wasn’t going to let her out of his life and she would bow to his will!

Rais has no respect for Jo at all. The entire book was the same. I kept waiting for Rais to redeem himself in every chapter. Towards the end he did try to redeem himself with a few written words but I did not feel it redeemed his actions from the entire book. Jo very easily gave into him and forgave him, without making him work too much for it. It was disappointing to say the least. I got myself into a fury over the entire book and I hate to be happy with a few apologetic words. Not helping.

This actually deserves 2 stars but I am being generous just for the banter between Rais and his siblings.

Arrogant Prince taken down by his little mate

Prince Rais handles his country's finances and investments. He is very sure of his self and his abilities. Rais loves the ladies and there is a different one every few days...BUT...
He has just met the women of his dreams and he' s in lust, maybe even love. Joline loves her job but she is working herself to exhaustion. She runs an upscale designer created dress shop with two other partners. Joline and Rais are butting heads but in the end they find compromise and a happy ever after. Love the story and the characters. Linda

Hmm. Jollie was co-owner business with Shantra. She visited the palace and Rais noticed her beauty. She was a virgin with an outgoing mother who changed husbands repeatedly. He took her virginity and demanded she marries him. He also didnt want her to work. So she went hiding for five days. Guess where? In the palace huh. He emailed her saying he loves her and she came running to his office. Blablabla.

The Prince's Forbidden Lover...

The Samara Royal Family series book 3. A nice read for the Samara family. This is Rais story. He meets and falls for his sister's BFF. However the road to this romance is filled with semi old fashioned views and insecurities. Filled with angst and funny drama.

Good

Was a good story, not too difficult to figure out. It wasn't hard to follow, but still a good story with nice twist to round it off.

Awesome book!

This is turning it to be a great series! I love all of the characters, the women are strong and determined not to bow down to their husband's will, and the men are badass alpha males! The emotion written into each book and story is so real and believable that it is thoroughly enjoyable to read about. Joline and Rais are another perfectly matched couple and their story is really fun to read. My only complaint is that the blurb about the book was a tiny bit misleading. It implies that Rais waited until Joline left the palace the first time to start their relationship and that Shantra didn't want them to be together. However, Shantra was actually trying to match-make and was a pivotal influence in getting them together. AND the first time Rais kisses Joline is in the palace! So the blurb was a little misleading, but I am in no way upset about that. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys easy-to-read HEA love stories, but I do recommend that you read the series in order.

This book started ok and then while you were expecting the main issue Jo had was the history her mother had, but nothing. The plot was building that way for her but at the end it did not matter at all.

And then we have the hero... Without his sister basically saying to him what he did wrong, he had no clue even though Jo was telling him. He was soooo pushy and at the end for me it was not at all believable that he understood what was wrong with his behavior and to be truly remorseful.

Gotcha!

Joline and her partner's Keith and the Princess Shantel are in business together. But Channel's brother takes an interest in Joline and won't be denied . He tries to manage Joline into his bed and into marriage. however Joline ties him up in knots. And what a merry chaise it is!

Disappointing!

This book started out with such promise, but digressed quickly. The hate vs love plot works well until the end. It seemed ms. Lennox finished this book too quickly, rushing to complete it.

Men and women

It's so funny how men think women can't to things on their own but that's the whole reason they fell in love with them in the first place love it
