The Five Fold: Unlock Your Purpose by Activating Your Spiritual Gifts

Rate this book
What are the “Five Fold?”

It’s not some new boy band. It’s an incredible, untapped source of power for you and your church.

If you want to experience more personal growth and more fruit in your community, look at the presence or absence of the Five Fold in the body.

The “Five Fold” were spiritual gifts given to the church by Christ. While there are other spiritual gifts in the Bible, these five were called out in Ephesians for a specific, grand purpose. These five were called out to work in unison within the body to build the church to restore the world in relationship with God.

Sadly, many churches overlook the Five Fold latent in their members. Many don't just overlook. They flat-out suppress them.

My vision for you is to, through this book:

•Break down barriers within your church
•Release your potential and passion
•Heal dysfunctions from an imbalance in the gifts
•Restore your joy in serving God
•Remove burnout and burden from being in church
•Release more grace in your life
•Improve the way you connect with others

The church often overlooks the spiritual gifts. Here's a quick test:

•Do you know the gifts of your leaders?
•Have the leaders acknowledged imbalance in themselves or the church?
•Do you feel your gifts are encouraged and empowered as a way to serve?
•Do you experience a feeling of understanding, connection and purpose that is shared with everyone else through gifts?

If you care about your gifts, the gifts of others and, most importantly, how these gifts can move the church and, as a result, the Gospel, forward into the world with spiritual power, then download this free edition now.

Why five?

Why limit the gifts to five when the bible names more? At the risk of being labeled critical, I'll suggest that the only reason to ignore other gifts is symptomatic of the Corinthian desire for the greater gifts. An attitude rebuked by the apostle Paul.

Skip this one and read Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12-14 instead for a better discussion of spiritual gifts.

Much Needed in Our Churches

While many of the Five Fold gifts are used daily within communities of faith, there are several that are avoided for the most part. Jeremiah not only calls out the need, he used scripture and very applicable steps to release these untapped gifting once again.
