28 different characters, poses and expressions that offer a dynamic selection of manga chibi figures. Chibis are a fun subject to explore, with large eyes, tiny bodies and very expressive emotions. This is a genre perfect for anyone seeking to learn a simpler form of manga and the basics of creating these delightful characters.
I went between four and three stars and here's why: there is only an introduction followed by example drawings. However, those drawings are super simplified as promised. And they are fantastic examples of the drawing process. It's also just, super short. Still, worth going through the exercises.
What you are getting is a small introduction and 27 Chibis examples with minimal instruction (only "step by step illustrations".) It would be helpfull if the author added a section with "common mistakes, where you should pay attention, how to draw hair, etc..."
If you are a begginer, I can't reccomend it. It is good for practing, but there is to much unexplained.
