This whole tutorial series is quite amazing for cosplay-beginners!
Short and straightforward, but you get all needed info nevertheless.

Her method of separating a prop piece into multiple parts for travel and then being able to screw it back together for display blew my mind. It's so simple but I never ever would have thought of it!
