In Cold Blood

Rate this book
“I don’t really understand why anyone would want to kill a poor woman in cold blood. look at her, how old do you think she was? Sixty? People are really sick in this doggy dog world we call home.” Agent Cromwell complained

But at that moment, agent Madeline Summers wasn’t even in the conversation. She was down on one knee examining the corpse. It was such a bad idea to just let this one go without her doing her best. And that was why she was there, not to keep up conversations about how bad the world had become, but to try and make her contributions on making the world a much better place.

The knife had gone straight through the poor woman’s heart and there was no way she was going to fight back. Agent Madeline summers checked on her fingernails and bit on her lower lip as she went deep in thought.

“I don’t think this was done by an amateur. This was a professional hit.”
“But all the evidence point towards an accident.”
“Yes, of course it does. Its because the killer wants us to believe so. Too bad we aren’t that stupid.”

Quick read,but...

The book has a lot of missing capital letters, and run on sentences. Good story but ends like last chapter is not there.

Disappointed

Very disappointed in this book! I'm glad it was free because I wouldn't have wanted to waste my money . I could overlook the spelling and grammar errors, but there was basically no ending. The only reason I even gave it 1 star was because I had to give it something to be allowed to post.

Proof reader needed and spell check. Back to the drawing board

Agent summers and smooth need capitals and burger means badge. Took a lot away from the book.

Try again and again.

I was hoping for a fun little murder mystery instead I was left with a mystery of why the book was even published. There was no real plot to speak of, the murder was never solved and the book was riddled with grammatical errors and spelling and punctuation errors. I didn't finish it.

BORING

Sorry, but dialogue among a bunch of policemen just doesn't do it for me. I really tried in order to be fair. I
