Pretty sure that this is the first of many more Thai romances that I'll be reading. James Jirayu's Saran Siwaweth & Ranee Campen's Rin Rapee from Channel 3's 2016 lakorn drama of the same name won my heart, so it was a given that I'd start on the book too.
The plot is based in the older generation, an era sans phones or internet. One where having a telephone is considered to be a huge deal, which made the book all the more enjoyable. It was great to see all the characters having to interact physically or through letters which brought forward more depth to the storyline. Reading this made me realise that the drama did deviate quite a bit in certain instances but the ending was definitely way better in the book.
• Short read. • Family drama included. • Character development. • Persistent OW & OM. • Exciting sub-plot.
BONUS : Sheriff and his wife being all adorable with each other.
