Consumed by the Billionaire

Rate this book
Sara never had a normal life. And probably never will.

She’s a talented singer and dreams to live her passion. But between her job as a bartender to pay the rent and her sister who’s an addict, Sara has another responsibility: Matt, her 5 year old nephew who’s desperately seeking his mother’s love and attention.

Despite all these obstacles, Sara never gave up. She can’t and she won’t: that’s not her type. She’s a fighter. Even if her life is everything but perfect, there’s still a stubborn part of her that believes that everything will change. If at least she could find love…

Ryan is a workaholic and that’s why his hedge fund is one of the most successful in the country. Time is money and money is everything. So when his best friend invites him to a high dollar bar to celebrate his engagement, Ryan reluctantly accepts.

The second his gaze meets Sara’s beautiful eyes, he knows that he’s been wrong all his life: money isn’t everything. The beauty behind the counter is.

Note: this is the last book in the series. Contains explicit language for a mature audience only.

Really Sara? Really, how could this happen? I'm pretty sure it happens all the time when people don't use any protection!! Okay so if you choose for your characters to use no protection it's your choice but don't turn around and say "How did that happen??" Argh that's such a pet peeve for me. NO ONE is that dumb to not understand how children are conceived, there is just no excuse for that. So now that Sara knows 'that happened' she is scared to tell Ryan who is still getting harassed by her stalker ex.

Of course when he finds out about the baby he is overjoyed and all is perfect in the world again.

Sara's dream comes true when she is contacted by a record label, they sign her up for records and tours. as she leaves the office though all hell breaks loose:

As I raised my face to the sun and lifted my arms, soaking in the warmth and the hope I was feeling, Karl came around the side of the building, a gun raised in shaking hands.

Of course this ends in a HEA for everyone in a nice epilogue that wrapped up all the loose ends. I have a thing about not finishing things and so I continued this series/serial out of pure curiosity, it was a good story but I would not recommend it.
Here's why: It's a rip off, $3.99 each for 4 books that contain <100 pages (yes I am a idiot). The story was okay just not worth it.

An Awesome Read!

I loved reading Consumed by the Billionaire (Forever Yours Book 5), all about Sara a singer/Entertainer & Ryan Miller the Billionaire boyfriend. In book 5 Sara finds out she's pregnant and is extremely worried that Ryan will not be happy, so she puts it off for two weeks. Where things come to a head when her ex Karl meets her and again try's to kill her, and Ryan saves her again. The author wrote a great series, though it took five books to tell the story it was one that kept your attention the entire time! So it's worth the read, + it's free in Kindle Unlimited so definitely worth your time to read it!

My love of Reading

My favorite past time as am retired is reading. These books are undoubtedly my favorite ones. I love the suspense of not knowing if their love will take them to that level of forever more. Actually all the Billionaire series of my favorite author's are the ones I read the most of. Thank you all for allowing us to dream through your stories. It's been really hard since I lost my husband a few years ago, so reading helps me cope.
Thank you all again.

I liked this series! It was entertaining and the cliffhangers kept me reading. Now with that said... it was unbelievable. I really hate Mary the author tries really hard to make you like her but I just can't! She is a terrible person she consistently mistreats her son and every time she's left alone with him he ends up in the hospital and not one person or officer or nurse or doctor says maybe we should get child services involved? No way in hell would a child get shot and the police let him go home with the parent that was responsible!and everybody is like give Mary a chance to be a good mom even though she's addicted to hard drugs and gets kidnapped she's a good person and even though she shoves him hard enough to to make him fall when he goes to her for affection she loves him it's ok that she stole all the rent money and got our house shot up she's really a good person! I have lived in a home like this maybe people didn't shoot up my house but eventually child services gets involved and it's not up to the family it doesn't matter if they feel that the mom is really deep down a loving caring person that just needs to kick the habit the child will be taken away in cases as serious as this one it's never given back to the mother. I just feel like the author made it ok that Mary was the way she was it made me a little angry!

Consumed

All five of the books in this series are outstanding and you get to see how Sarah and Ryan face so many of life's challenges as their love becomes stronger. This is splendid HEA series.
