Life has never been better for Lucy Reid. What started out as an intense and forbidden affair with her boss, Jason, has blossomed into love. Sharing her life with him, loving him, has never been easier. His dominant touch and his desire to possess every part of her brings endless nights of unimaginable pleasure. Their life together is perfect.
But when an earth-shattering revelation threatens their future, Lucy must choose between holding on to what her heart wants most, or walking away and allowing Jason the life he deserves.
Please note this is the third book in the Tempted Series. Please read “Tempted” and “Twice Tempted” BEFORE reading this book.
Author’s Note: This book contains explicit and steamy sex scenes that may not be your cup of tea. It is intended for mature readers only.
Elizabeth Kelly is a romance novelist who spends her days writing and pushing her cat Murray off the keyboard. She firmly believes that a person can survive solely on sushi and coffee, and only her husband's mad cooking skills prevents her from proving that theory.
She also writes contemporary and paranormal romance under her alter-ego "Ramona Gray".
oh my goodness!!!! this is so good! this time we actually have a very heavy problem that is set up for Lucy and Jason. it's a test of love. and it's so amazing that the book flowed so well.
we have more characters this time. just family, friends, and a new co-worker. which i thought was such a good addition. it definitely became a series. who would have thought that a stand alone could go so far as to this one? it became a trilogy and it even had a spin-off! which i am so excited to read!
speaking of spin-off, it's definitely amazing to see a glimpse of it in this book. like I said, i am excited to see Amanda and Max's story this time. and also to see a little bit more extra with Lucy and Jason.
Going back to this book. I love that it wasn't an overkill in HEA. because some authors do that. this one stayed honest, true, and realistic. More reasons why I like the way Elizabeth Kelly writes. There were even times that I was frowning at my kindle because of the feelings that were being conveyed by the characters. like they were what I'm feeling too.
this is such a good way to end the series. and i am so happy I picked this series up! totally worth it!
Terrible. The author basically put a couple chapters from one of her other series in the middle of this book to try and get more readers. However, thAt only made this shitty book drag on longer. The whole series is a script for a full length movie porn. Terrible writing, terrible characters, terrible plot.
Cute! BUT I do feel like this one was just setting the stage for Max/amanda AND the drama was just so unnecessary!! I hate the health trauma, and yes I get it, it’s real but damnit im reading fiction and I want a perfect HEA. Overall still good.
heavy topics addressed. Jason's controlling approach annoyed me when if he had just showed his partner he was there for her when she was ready to talk it may have gone smoother.
I received an ARC for an honest review, I love this series, I have read tempted and twice tempted more times than I can count and this book will definitely go into the must read more than once catalog of books, I adore Lucy and Jason, they are one of my favorite book couples, This book has everything I love about books in it love, hilarious moments, and real-life issues that make you laugh and cry, this is a book you will not want to put down just like the rest of the series, I was so excited when I heard that Elizabeth was writing this book because Tempted was the first book I read by this author and I have been hooked and maybe a little obsessed since, I highly recommend this series if you want to read a feel good romance with just the right amount of spice, Warning for this book though make sure you have Kleenex nearby. I loved the secondary characters in Amanda and Max, glad to see they will be getting there own book!!
Tempted 3 has taken the spot of my favorite of the three books. It isn't as light hearted and fun. It is deeper, more heart felt, gritty, and real. They experience a serious struggle that drew me closer to the characters. Their vulnerability and heartbreak tied me to them in a way that hadn't happened yet. This author took this series to a whole new level with this new installment. It's almost like she dug deep and put a part of her soul in it. The emotions during this trial leap from the pages and force you to feel the kaleidoscope of emotions ripping through them. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and I cannot recommend this book enough. Wow. I'm still feeling the aftershocks of this fantastic read.
I received an ARC for an honest review. Tempted was my first Elizabeth Kelly book and was hooked, I love this series. We got to see Lucy and Jason meet and develop a relationship in Tempted and Tempted 2. This book takes Lucy and Jason to the next level, it pulls you in you don't want to put it down as we watch the relationship grow happily along the two of them falling more in love, you laugh plus feel the sadness as they face real life issues. I love that Jason calls Lucy " Miss Reid" and Lucy calls him "Mr. Young" I enjoyed the emotional journey and being introduced to two very interesting secondary characters. ..Looking forward to Amanda and Max story we may get to see Lucy and Jason again. This book and series won't disappoint I highly recommend it, Elizabeth did an amazing job..
Tempted 3 is an emotional roller coaster, with happiness highs and disappointment lows. I didn’t laugh as much as I did when I read The Christmas Wife but the emotional impact of Tempted 3 was just as memorable. I love Jason and Lucy. Their story told through the series is captivating and as a reader I developed a connection to them. Their relationship and their struggles are true to life and help us believe in a happily ever after. Not every story has the power to do that, Tempted 3 does. The series, including Tempted 3, is off the heat scale. If you like your stories, hot-hot-hot, the Tempted series should be at the top of your reading list. I received an advanced reader copy for an honest review.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Tempted was the first Elizabeth Kelly book i read and i have been a fan ever since. Jason and Lucy are one of my favorite book couples and i was so happy to see their story continued. In Temted 3 Jason and Lucy are happy and in love and still as sexy as they were in the first 2 books. Life sends them a curveball and things get difficult and sad but Jason's and Lucy's love prevails. This book is sad and funny and sexy everything that makes a book great. I also love the new characters introduced. I can't wait to read about Amanda and hopefully Max.
I received an advanced author’s copy of the 3 book bundle in exchange for my honest review. I read Breathless before these, not knowing it was apart of this world/series. So going back was a nice way to tie in that little bit of back story. First off Jason and Lucy are a hot and intense couple. Several issues and situations are in their way, but it can't keep them apart. I couldn't put it down. I felt for the characters and can easily see both their point of views. The bundle helps with a smooth read through from start to finish. These two can't stay away from each other and you son't want them to!
Received an ARC for an honest review I like that this is the wrap up of this book but I just wish there was more to the new set of problems that were introduced. I really love that there was a possible set up in there and I could not stop smiling. I have loved this book series Jason and Lucy were great. Overall I would recommend this author and these book to anyone because while short they really grab you.
The first novella is pretty awesome and hot as hell. I really enjoyed it and was frustrated that there wasn't a nice wrap up at the end. Anyway, I bought the other two books in the series and I was pretty pissed. They are both novellas that were a waste of money. They do not add anything to Jason's and Lucy's story. All three novellas do not even add up to one full length novel. I was extremely disappointed. Oh, and the sex sucks in the last two too.
Sweet yet predictable ending. Still I read all three books to get to that sweet ending. It's a quick read and for the hopeless romantic it fills the bill. Lots of sex so don't read if that offends you.
