But when he meets a young woman, Antonia, who shares his interests, his future is complicated as he discovers her past life holds much pain and many secrets.
Their path to happiness is not to be a smooth one…not least because of her mysterious past but because Europe is on the brink of war.
When war breaks out, Nicolas joins up.
On the beaches of Dunkirk a lifelong nightmare becomes reality in Soldier From The Wars Returning.
