This is just an awesome book. I read it every morning. I scroll through the table of contents, then i pick a prayer and read it out loud. The author of this book, as well as her other books, does not hold to one religion. Anyone who believes in any sort of Higher Power will relate to this books prayers, and they are a good start for people like me who are idiots with prayer.
This is a great prayer book.. Every page is written for the mind & spirit.. Prayers that will connect you with the power of divine God within that will also align you with a greater purpose & strength to face each day with confidence & inner grace..
Love this author. She is so real and true. She is a great therapist in a book but I'd love to meet her in person. Her writing energy brings peace and serenity.
Each prayer has a calming and impowering effect. After reading most prayers I wished that if I could look that simply at life. These prayers reitterated being grateful for everyday things.
If you want a change in your life. O my goodness this book is a must have life changing.
Stop blaming others and work on you. It all beings working from working inside out. What a a amazing women that wrote this book. Love yourself and get this book and use it in your every day. See the change
This sounded a little cheesy to me, but I got it anyway because my old coach recommended a different book by this author (Trust), but all my library had was this one. So far, it's actually been really moving and amazing. Definitely making me want to seek out the other book, too.
A nearly perfect prayer book. It contains prayers for almost every imaginable need and life situation. This book was such a blessing. It's currently the best possible prayer book that I own and I know that I will be returning to it a lot: maybe every day as the title suggests. Thank you Iyanla! :)
The prayers in this book are comforting, helpful, inspiring and motivational. There is a prayer for every situation. It is a book I will read over and over again.
I mean she provides an idea of prayer and what we should be thankful for which I appreciate but did not leave me feeling like I gained anything from her perspective.
If you need ANY help with building your prayer practice-- look no further. Beautifully written, powerful and precise prayers for everything and everyone.
I'm big fan of her work and books. my first books by her were acts of faith and this one but lost them. so I got another copy. I find the pray book to be uplifting when I feeling down. then I see my day turning round.
