Sadie is helping to restore an old house, plus helping with her class reunion. Her friend comes to help with the reunion and tells Sadie that she just found out she was adopted. Sadie helps her find her birth parents. Lots of good clues, interesting story about the background of the house. A really good story

This one was incredible. It is tied with “Empty Saddle” for my series favorite read. A compelling mystery with a fantastic ending. Adorable book.

There is going to be a high school reunion of Sadie's high school class. There is only one problem, Sadie's best friend, Roz and Ann another friend can't agree on where the reunion should take place. Also, Sadie is helping a couple the Jones restore a really old house to it's original state. Then when Ann arrives in Silver Peak she tells Sadie that she found out that she is adopted and she wants to find out who her true birth parents are. A necklace that Ann is wearing has a connection to the house Sadie is working on. Can Sadie get Roz and Ann to compromise about where the reunion is going to take place? Also, can Sadie help Ann to find out who her birth parents are and have a reunion with them. Enjoy.

For me this was just a fun read. With the reunion as only the backdrop to the mystery, I enjoyed the plot twists and turns of Ann trying to uncover why her DNA doesn’t match that of her parents. The ending is charming. I often go to Guidepost books when I want a sweet read, and this one was very much that.
