Unleashed Chains

Hold on to your seats because you are about to step into the life of an innocent little girl whose childhood was almost stripped from her. Sandy was born into a two parent household. Her mother is Caucasian, Indian, and Creole and her father on the other hand was a black successful man who had the finer things and lived a lavish life. This alone was extremely difficult for Sandy because her mother took the trait of being considered bipolar and living with a person who was happy one minute and the next minute would curse you out, is not easy for her to deal with alone. Sandy ran into a road block and was faced with adversity of having to deal with the divorce of her parents, seeking love from her mother, being bullied at school, to the molestation she couldn’t escape. She cried out for help, silently, while dealing with the horrific experiences that seemed to weigh her down. Her only escape came at an early age, through her passion to play basketball and write poems about her emotions.
