Mythos

Rate this book
More than a thousand years have passed since the earth was devastated by atomic war. Four sprawling empires control vast portions of the now colonized Milky Way. A tenuous peace that has lasted almost a generation is threatened by the quickly militarizing Belarian Empire. Political intrigue, unexpected twists and morally complex issues make this sci-fi adventure anything but predictable!

My name is Jonathan. I live in a small town in Pennsylvania with my beautiful wife, two crazy daughters and a cowardly dog named Winston. I love books -reading them and writing them. I enjoy reading history, theology, biography and occasionally a good piece of fiction. I write science fiction. I believe the Bible has had a greater effect on literature than any other book in the history of mankind. I also believe it contains the truth about human origins and needs and God's provision of salvation in Jesus Christ. I study it every day to learn how to better live in God's world for His glory.

This was a little slow at first as the various characters, races and creeds were introduced but once this was done the story picks up and weaves itself into a complex, intriguing and entertaining tale as the fragile peace of the universe slowly descends into war. There is a lot going on considering the length of the book but it does have a character list at the beginning to help you keep track of who is who (which I did have to refer to a couple of times) but it does set the series up for some interesting developments.
