I read this at the same time as the Shultz/Hayes book All is well: Heal your Body... Basically that book is a written version of these taped discussions between Shultz and Northrup. No comparison! These two are witty, smart and wonderful. The book version doesn't do this justice. Unfortunately, this only exists on disc and is quite old. But awesome! Guess I'll be buying the CD...

Igniting Intuition by Christiane Northrup was not what I had expected and I wasn't all that interested. There were some parts I found interesting, and looking at the reviews of other readers it is obviously of interest to many. The focus was more on medical intuition and diseases that feed your intuition about what is not working in your life. I had thought it was related to mediums and development of psychic abilities. The "podcast" feel of the format also didn't play well for me.

This was more like a bad podcast than it was an audiobook. There didn’t seem to be much of a script and the different authors acted like they were being forced to converse with the other the whole time asking questions that were already answered by the other in their sections/stories constantly. Felt very unprofessional and spur of the moment—just wasn’t for me.

A very insightful audio book and I love the casual dialogue between Christiane and Mona Lisa. As well as the technical terminology and how they broke it down in simple terms.

The book started off well, but I had a hard time following the intuitive thought's process halfway through the book. She came across as someone skilled in her field, but scattered, impatient, and one who didn't try to get all of the information from the clients.

Super short read. A little bit more on the feminist side than I agree with. However there were some good insights about how our thoughts can impact our body resulting in disease or pain.
