Crushes and Forbidden Kisses

I really enjoyed this book. It's sweet, sensual, and a good building block for what's to come. Kenna MacTavish's new friends have accepted and encouraged her in a way that I absolutely love. Iliya Ecker and Jane have welcomed her with open arms and their genuineness is inspiring.

This guy has some sort of power if he’s got me…
-- Kenna Janice MacTavish

Watching Kenna trip all over Delancey "Del" Ecker is humorous. She's immediately enamored, before she remembers one very important, embarrassing detail. He's married to Iliya. Oopsies.... 😘🔥

There isn't any cheating, but things between the three do heat up. Misunderstandings, little touches, and dirty kisses have me looking forward to more!

I found this series starter so interesting. Kenna, a divorced woman, the author of children's books and a bit of a recluse, is befriended by two neighbors who enjoy a daily walk together. Iliya and Jane are great characters. Then Del, Iliya's husband, appears. Another author and one that Kenna has read and admires, overwhelms Kenna because he is gorgeous and seems interested in her. What a bunch! This is not the sort of story I'm usually attracted to, but I found myself quickly turning the pages. I'm going on to the next book now!

Our heroine is lonely and bitter, another victim of an ugly divorce. Can her new friends teach her to live again and perhaps even love?

This is the start of a new series by our author and it promises to be a good one. It is a story about three people learning (yearning?) to form an unconventional relationship. Each of the characters has their own secrets and reasons for wanting this to work and the chemistry is off the charts. The story is well written and develops at a good pace.

What I found particularly fascinating is that the story is told from all three perspectives. This nine book series is actually three sets of three, with each person providing their view as the relationship develops. This is book one from Kenna's perspective.

Fair warning: I found the story to be highly addictive, so be prepared to stay up late reading once you start.

Highly recommended.

Hot FFM novella. This is the first book I read from this author and it won't be the last. It's also my first FFM book I read. I usually read MMF books. I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did. I also enjoyed reading a book where the story is located not only in my country but from the east coast too. My only regret is not grabbing the follow-up ARC'S books to the series.
Worth the read!

I really wasn't sure what I was going to get with this - first time reading this author. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the story from the start. The characters are all different and growing. You can feel the emotion in the story. Sex scenes are well written. I'm glad I grabbed the box set.

Touch is the first book in a new series, and if the next books are as good as this one it promises to be a great series. The book cover calls this 'an unconventional love story', and with what we've seen so far I'd definitely agree with that statement! I like the author's style of writing, and I absolutely love the characters that she's created. The three main characters all have the likability factor, and I'm look forward to getting to know them further in the next book.

Since her divorce Kenna has isolated herself from the world, she doesn't really interact with anyone or have friends - until she meets gorgeous, vivacious Iliya. She is drawn to Iliya, but she also finds herself very attracted to Iliya's handsome husband Del. The more she gets to know them, the more she likes them and she finds herself getting more and more involved in their lives.

This book ended just when things were heating up - I need the next book now! I can't wait to see what the future holds for Kenna, Iliya and Del. Touch receives four out of five stars.

Anna tells an emotional story of self awareness that brings every real emotion to the brink. From self worth and the fight to achieve one's self worth, to the joy of living life as you find happiness, friendship and love and one's own self.

Kenna's loneliness is written with overwhelming emotion. She feels her life slipping into nothingness until one morning, the door to something else opens and pulls her onto a path she can't resist. The newness Kenna feels and reacts to is uplifting to see. It's as if you can see her eyes open and she can see light coming into the darkness. Her trepidation is written with a realism that can be felt with every page. Her excitement builds with the newness of her emotions towards a brighter path in front of her and how she embraces all that is.

Sensually enticing, apprehensively erotic with an excitement of new beginnings. Leaves you anticipating more!

Erotica, heroine-pov, book #1 of a series.

I believe each book of the serial will follow one of the three main characters, or who will become main characters.

Character:  heroine 4/5, secondary characters 4/5, growth 4/5, real 3/5  Kenna is a great character. Ilyia is interesting and Del is hot. I have also liked Jane. Really good characters all around.
Cover: art 4/5, title 4/5, subtitle 4/5, color-font 5/5, buy 4/5 Great cover. Really fitting for the story. I would buy it without reading the blurb. Is sexy without being over the top.
Freshness: Is different than most things that are out there.
Plot: believable 3/5, conflict 4/5, dialogue 4/5, ending 3/5, enjoyment 3/5, opening 4/5, pace 3/5, setting 5/5, subplots 3/5, twists 3/5  Good opening and ok ending. Good conflict and nice dialogues. An overall enjoyable plot.
Romance: believable 3/5, chemistry 4/5, description 5/5, development 3/5, steam 2/5 This is more like erotic romance than erotica. We can feel the emotional connection being built between the characters. Good premise of smut.
Writing Style: Good plot with interesting characters. Is well written.

Addictiveness:  Because this is a lot out of my comfort zone, I guess I didn't read it in one sitting. I have stopped a few times.

I have mixed feelings here.

I got a bit invested in Kenna and would like to know how she moves forward. But at the same time, I don't love f/f and I know there will be a lot of that. I usually skim through those scenes of the book, so I'm unsure how to proceed.

The writing is good, is my own likes and dislikes that are my hang-ups here.

Overall

Action 0/5
Angst 2.5/5
Darkness 0/5
Humor 2/5
Romance 3/5
Suspense/Mystery 0/5
Would I recommend? I would recommend this book for everyone that enjoy erotica ,specially F/F/M.
Would I re-read this book?  I don't know.
Would I re-read this series? I'm still unsure.
Would I read more from the author? Yes. I've liked other series from her.

You MAY read this because you follow the author; you SHOULD read this because you enjoy erotica; you MUST read this if you enjoy F/F/M.
