I thought this book was interesting to read. The illegal sex trafficking circle was something I have read about in other books. This book kept me wanting to find out what would happen next. Jim Broadbent investigates and this character was entertaining to me. This was a bit graphic but I would expect that because of the story being told. I enjoyed it. *This book was given to me for free at my request from a LibraryThing Giveaway and I provided this voluntary review.*

This is in fact the third book I have now read by this author. I recall previously saying I wished Seat 3F could be longer so the reader could actually get to grips with the characters. Abducted satisfied that so now I have got to ‘Missing’.

Another hard to read book centering around Jim Broadbent. He isn’t a particularly nice person in the way he conducts his life but in context he is ideal. You need to read the first book in order to follow the circumstances that unfold in this one.
This time his investigation focusses on a missing girl which leads to the discovery of an illegal sex trafficking circle and all the unsavoury details that encompass it.
There is plenty of dark content, graphic details, but also clever in-depth investigations. Not everybody’s cup of tea but if you like down to earth realistic ‘entertainment’ then this could be up your alley. I do personally feel that the writing technique is improving with each book which is nice to see.
