I was disillusioned by this read as I thought it was the novel itself.Next book I'llChoose with greater care!

However, I did read the review and was able to get the hang of it. I don't plan to pay for it again

Loved all the different perspectives and stories behind each person in the family that only the reader gets to learn and understand. Throughout the book you start to empathize with each character, whether you agree with their actions or not. I found myself wanting to explain to the characters why each person in the family was acting the way they were - if only they knew their background stories and experiences, maybe forgiveness and healing could start to happen. But that is not the way the real world works. This book was really beautiful and I highly recommend!

The book was well written and subtle. But a really frustrating, sad, and uncomfortable read for me. The character developments were noteworthy.

This was a moving and heartfelt book. A glimpse into one family’s pain and dysfunction. Well written, engaging and enlightening. If you need a book to read, this is a wonderful pick.

I had a hard time reading this. I had to go back several times to try and connect to the characters. I ended up just feeling frustrated with each of them. All suspense just lingered into disappointment and sadness.

Good story and interesting characters. Easier to read if you do it a couple of chapters at a time

I actually downloaded the wrong one from Amazon. I wanted the novel, not the debrief, lol. But reading this gave me an idea of the storyline, the characters etc. The parents in this book definitely have issues and I didn't like either of them, so I don't need to read the actual book now lol
