I won this book in a goodreads giveaway. I really enjoyed it! It was fast paced without skimming over important character development and details. The author included a letter with the book mentioning that he doesn't mean to preach through the book. I am not religious so reading such a statement always makes me cringe. Usually you can almost be sure that is Exactly what's going to happen. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was incorporated in the story up until the last couple chapters. Even then it wasn't too bad. The characters were interesting and believable. Often being able to predict where a story is going, I loved that I could rarely tell where this one would lead! Well done. I would certainly recommend it.

I enjoyed this book more than I expected. The story begins with a hook that kept me reading. It made me think about how little we know about people and how easily our lives can change in an instant. The biggest truth in the book is that we should each be unafraid of being a Christian and live our lives to bring people to Jesus. We don't know whose life we may touch and we may not understand God's plan, but there is a plan. There is Redemption.

This was just a totally awesome read! Once I started it, I couldn’t put it down – and it has everything in it: mystery, Government spies, abuse, loving Christian families, serial killers, FBI agents, sheriffs, war hero’s and normally everyday citizens --- all combining to make a wonderful, warm scary book that won’t be forgotten soon. Was so good, I started and finished it in a day!

I enjoyed the characters in this book very much. Overall, I thought the book was very well written, well developed, and didn't want to put the book down. I usually do not read Christian novels, but this one held my interest. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Really great book! It's a unique combination of suspenseful thriller and a Christian message. I read this book in two sittings while on an airplane. The author does a good job of developing the characters and unfolding an action packed adventure/mystery. Definitely a page-turner!

As the author of this book, I think it is a pretty good work of fiction! Of course, I probably should not be reviewing my own work, as I am not objective. I am doing so to hopefully engage you, my real readers! I hope that you will enjoy getting to know the characters in this book as much as I enjoyed developing them. I hope they will be unforgettable, that some of what they experience will speak to you where you are, and that, perhaps, you'll learn something about yourself and the world around you in the process. I have tried very hard to not be "preachy" in this book, although the message I am trying to communicate is very apparent. I have tried to weave a message of eternal significance into the fabric of a great story, one that I hope keeps you turning the pages! Something you will see, I am sure, is how darkness and evil are at work in this book...I have tried to demonstrate just how dangerous evil really is, and what it looks like, in all of its forms. By contrast, I have also tried to draw attention to just how good God is, and how much His grace and mercy are available to those who desperately need it. For what its worth, I hope that you will read this book and enjoy it as a story, but also appreciate the message that this novel is trying to convey. Thanks for reading! - Ryan

I got this book on a Goodreads give-away, and I'm so grateful I didn't pay for it. I would have been so angry at the wasted money. I understand the author has his views about a specific religion but in no way do I feel if reading a novel I should be forced those views. I didn't realize when I entered that giveaway for that book that it was going to be a sermon. I was raised Christian, but understand everyone had their own views. The author was trying to make all Muslims to be evil killers and that is not true. I have many friends who are Muslim and I have sat down with them especially after 9-11 because my employer was Muslim at the time and I asked them to explain how I knew not everyone was evil. I feel the author is like most Christians and being hypocritical. the story could have been much better had I not felt so inclined to feel hate towards one type of people. I wish I could have gave this less than 1 star and I had to force myself to finish this book. I stopped midway to read another book and then picked it back up just to finish it.
