Dena is very happy that her friends have found love and now Dena wants to find somebody that will love her. With starting a new job, Dena is very happy but when a associate gets special treatment she sees red. Going to a sex club is just want she needs and meets Arik. Can he be who she needs. Can't wait to read what happens next

As long as Dena Monroe can remember she has wanted to become a top lawyer, fighting cases that she thought would put the people who deserve to be put away. However when she had the opportunity to work for the DA, she thought that with all the work she put into each task given would get her somewhere, but that's not the case in this job. As soon she meets her new boss she can tell that things aren't exactly going to be working in the way that they normally would, even with all her knowledge and hard work she has put in her new boss seems to be giving her the cold shoulder with whatever she does. Though she has noticed that her colleague Pierce seems to be getting special treatment, she knows that this isn't right but she won't go and rattle as it would look unprofessional on her part.
During her spare time she likes to just go and let loose and the one place that she can go is Club Privé, she is into be in charge in the bedroom but every now and then she will chose to be submissive, but most of the time she's happy being a Dominant. For the past few months she hasn't exactly been satisfied, so when she happens to meet Arik Porter during one of her nights at Leather and Laces she has a feeling that he will be able to give her what she wants.
Arik Porter has been a lawyer for quite a number of years and now he is currently back in New York. After seeing Dena at Leather and Laces, he is in for a complete shock when they both get to the hotel.
Will Arik be able to meet up to Dena's standards or will it have been a waste of time. How will Dena cope when she comes face to face with Arik a few days later at Club Privé . Trust me this is such a hot start to a series and it will literally keep you hooked. You really feel for Dena as surly who else would put up with what she is at her job, but honestly this is so amazing I recommend you try it. You never know until you see for yourself.

First, again we have another short story, not a full novel. However I was expecting this because Ms. Parker is known for these types of stories. But this the only thing I knew before reading this book. After the first page I knew this book was unlike all the others.
First we have Dena, she is a character we've seen in the Club Prieve books. Dena is quitting her job to take a job as and Assistant District Attorny. Her dream job. While she's looking at how her life is changing , how one door is closing and another is opening, she is definite feeling lonely.
We quickly learn that Dena is having a difficult time finding a man who meets her needs. See she's not a true sexual submissive, or a true female dominant, she actually a switch. Someone who likes to dominate men sometimes, and other times likes to be dominated. It's truly difficult for her to find someone like herself. We get to see her as a female dominate, which is smoking hot. But it doesn't completely satisfy her.
We get to meet Arik, who is new to NYC and to Club Prieve. He is also an Attorny but for the other guys, he's a defense attorney. We learn how unsatisfactory Dena's new job is and hoe frustrating her whole life is, in walks a very sexy Arik, to Leather and Lace , another NYC BDSM club. They hit it off instantly,you could almost feel the heat coming off the pages. But then your left wanting.
This book has great character development and we really dive into this world, which we have had glimpses at from Ms. Parker's pervious books. I look forward to grabbing the rest of Dena and Arik's story and hope they can find a happy ending.

MS Parker has been at it again, wonderful read and the bonus for me is that when book one finished I flipped the page and there was book two, no waiting and chewing off all my nails.
In this latest book we are brought back to the world of Club Prive, we have all the characters back but the story in this book is all about Dena. Dena is starting what she wants to be her dream job, but soon learns that she is competing with someone else to get all the prime work and she is struck doing all the grunt work. What really makes Dena special is she that she is a both a Dom and a Sub at the same time, and she has been looking for a man that can satisfy her needs in the BDSM rooms.
In walks Arik, can I say how much I love saying his name, from the moment he sees Dena, he knows he has to have her. Dena and Arik together, there are no words to describe how hot they are together.
Reading book two now, book one was amazing and you will not be disappointed.

Oh my what a wonderfully erotic and naughty story this book set is already setting out to be.
Absolutely loved the first volume of this naughty lil story.
I like how the author doesnt make you wait for the naughty bits. She explains a bit and gets right into details about the bdsm lifesyle and the two clubs.
The ending of this first volume is so very sad.

Dena, what is there to say about a girl that reminds me of my stubborn difficult and unyielding self. I personally share her same switch confusions and frusterations, with not knowing what I may want or not want out of a partner and how to get them to do both.
Arik, oh me oh my what an amazingly sexy, gorgous, dominating human being.
You first read about him and you see him as this sweet caring man. But damn when his lifestyle side comes out he is hott damn alluring.
What else is there to say about that sexy beast of a man.

This book brings the reader back to Club Prive, with Dena one of the girls catching up with her friends at the BDSM club. Dena is ready for a change; she has accepted a new job at the DA's office but she is religated to the grunt work. She needs a reprive from the monotomy and finds the sexy redhead Arik at another club. They seem to have an immediate attraction to each other:
"For many months I'd felt like a caged animal, unable to escape the restlessness inside me. But now that I was effectively restrained, I felt freer than I had in a very long time. It might not have made sense to a lot of people, but some of us were just wired that way."
"You're not very good at being good, Dena. But damn if you aren't excellent at being bad."
A good start to a new series by one of my favorite authors, M.S. Parker.

This was a blast from the past! M.S. Parker made my day with this one! It was absolutely incredible to have the old gang back together again.
I absolutely loved reading Dena's story and being brought back to the world of Club Prive seeing all of the characters that we connected with originally. This series is all about Dena and her taking control of her career getting her life in control. I'm loving the fact that Dena is a switch with a Dom and a Sub. This book is full of emotion and drama that definitely will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time your reading it.
Arik...what can I say about his character other than he is one really hot incredibly amazing alpha male. Sex on a stick... Yes please!

That was until she catches Bethany and Pierce having sex in his office. It infuriates her that she was passed up for second chair due to the fact the were involved. So she decides to visit Club Prive in search of Arik and another night with him. That is until she sees him on the dance floor with another woman. Why is she so upset? They hadn't made any promises to one another. So will they have another encounter.? He's been the only one ti satisfie her. Once again a fabulous start to the series. Well done M.S.Parker as always

I really like this book. I can not wait to read book 2. Dena is a very smart witty Lawyer that has just taken a position at the DA's office. Though has just gotten her dream jib, it is noting going as planned. Her boss is being very rude and giving per busy work. Soon she will find out what's going on. In the mean time she has met a man that van satisfy her like no other, but was it only a one time thing between them? I can't wait for book 2 to find out.

The story started out slow to me . about half way through it really started to hold my attention. Poor dena thought she was landing her dream job and her boss is a witch. Dena meets arik at club price and then comes the Dom \ sub sexual relationship. Was awesome to see dena could be Both a sub and Dom. I like how dena could took charge in her life. It was also great to catch up wit Krissy and carrie

Read this box set straight through, it was that great!!!

I love Dena and Arik, they both strong, independent and no what they want sex with no strings. Then they meet and bam. Dena is dealing with a new job and boss. Arik is dealing with a case that could make or break him. This is the first book of Unlawful Attraction, I can't wait to see where M.S. Parker takes this series.

I loved M.S. Parker's Pleasures series, but this whole saga about lawyer friends somehow left me cold. I started reading this one - but, aside from all this BDSM stuff, I can see a conflict of interest story which is totally not what I like to read about.
