Roxy Sloan really drew me into this series with The Invitation. There was no way that I wasn’t going to finish the series and find out just where Surrender and Release were going to take us.
Even though you kind of knew who the invitation was probably from, I enjoyed the lengths he went to hide himself, to show her just what she’s been missing in her life and make her appreciate the wait to find out who he is and what he wants from her.
This all starts as one night in college and ends with Justine embracing her inner self and everything that Ash can give her.
The invitations are vague and intriguing. The sex was hot … whether it was in the BDSM club or in her bed. He made sure, until the bitter end, that Justine had no idea who was leading her around, giving her mind-blowing orgasms and re-introducing her to the rough, controlling sex that she never thought she would have again. Then, the final invitation comes and with it a promise to reveal himself. When he does, she’s in for one hell of a shock.
I loved watching Justine switch from the hard-a$$ed lawyer to the submissive. I loved how she stood up for herself and her beliefs, fought for what she thought was right but then gave in to her darkest desires. The interaction between her and Ash in the boardroom was explosive and bled over to the rest of the story making it more fascinating and thrilling. Our masked man and his gifts had me wishing for a little box waiting just for me.
I hadn’t read a lot of Roxy Slone before reading The Invitation but this series hooked me into her style of writing. I adored every aspect of this series. For me, it was a quick read. In fact, I couldn’t stop reading it once I started. From the college campus to the Sex Club … from the boardroom to the bedroom, my curiosity was piqued and there was no way I was going to put this story down until I found out, definitely, who was behind the mask and just how everything would end.

Sexy read, but...

In book one, the love scenes were ridiculously amazing and so hot. The chemistry between Justine and Ash was crazy!! The pages were practically on fire. I liked both of them right out of the gate. Unlike most romances, Justine wasn't a blushing virgin who had no experience against the playboy. Justine was smart, outgoing, and knew how to play with the big boys. Ash was just as outgoing and strong, but you could still feel that hint of sincerity and kindness.
Book two was a little frustrating. I don't believe that Justine would do all of the things she did for some random guy who left a note at her house. I think we all knew that the mystery man was Ash, but after the first few chapters, I was kind of over it. I wanted her to find out already. And how come she didn't know it was him? Even if he was faking an accent, the deepness of his voice would still be there. And she talked about their only night together saying she remembered every detail, so how could she not know how he felt? How he smelled?
By book three, my interest began to wane. It was pages and pages of sex and it was enough already. Yes, it was hot, but by the end, I didn't know why they were together besides a history of friendship and crazy sex. There didn't seem to be any substance to their relationship. It just seemed like obsession. And when he gave her the collar, how did she not know that he was staking his claim? Even Cam knew! I didn't like the fact that Justine turned from a fierce, strong woman into an almost weak woman. Yes, I want her to be vulnerable, but she would fall apart anytime Ash was in the room. Why did her taking a new job in NYC depend on her relationship with Ash? Yes, it was a deciding factor, but in the end, it shouldn't have anything to do with him? If he wasn't in her life, would she have taken the job? It was honestly a lot of drama stuffed in at the end.

Awesome Series!
Ashton and Justine are a amazing couple through all the ups and downs they managed to protect each other from harm and find out that they are true soul mates with a great sex life. I definitely recommend this series.

Love Roxy's writing style. Between the oh so dirty talk and the descriptive sexy scenes she wraps this book if a super smutty filled package!!!
If you had one night that you never though you would get would you take it? Best friends that never thought they would be together are about to light up the pages!!!
Love both of these characters. Roxy drags you into the story and keeps you turning the pages. Can't wait for the next story in this series.
I highly recommend this story.

This is the second part of Ashton "Ash" and Justine's "JJ" story. They have not spoken since they last saw each other. It has been years and JJ is surprised when Ash is in a meeting with her client.
The chemistry is still there but JJ is angry and hurt that Ash never contacted her. She though they were best friends. Now she has to deal with him and not seem unaffected. On the bright side she has a mystery man who is sending her sexy gifts and totally blowing her away with his sexy hotness. They are both HOT enough to set fire to your kindle so watch out!!! Can JJ just blow off Ash and move on with her mystery man? Or will she feel torn between them both?
Roxy writes steamy, dirty, unbelievably hot and sexy scenes and I bow down to her greatness!!! I can't get enough of her stories!! The ending really Roxy???? Are you freaking serious? As much as I love your stories you are really driving me crazy!!

WOW!!! This series was one of the hottest love stories I've ever read!! Roxy Sloane has outdone herself with The Invitation. I really like the story line, which keeps you guessing. Both main characters are fully developed and both very likable!! I found myself picking up my Kindle all the time just to read a little more!! The smoldering sex scenes keep coming and don't disappoint!! I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a little mystery and really HOT love. Loved it!!!

How hot was this ! The following love Ash.. his dirty mouth and that accent.. I love Ash and JJ together even more. JJ is awesome...she knows what she wants and she isn't afraid to go after it. She is sexy, intelligent and she found her match in Ash. Love the invitation and the games!
