Paradox is a fantastic book! Transient was a very good book and very well written, I had high expectations for this book. My expectations were definitely reached. I liked reading from the prospective of Levi. There was a lot of suspension throughout the story. There was a lot that I wasn’t expecting to happen at all in this book. It didn’t take very long for the book to grab my attention. Also, just when I thought I had the story figured out, something would happen that connected more dots. This happened a lot in the first book as well and I really liked that because it kept my interest. There was a huge plot twist that I was not expecting. I sat in shock after reading it. This book is filled with so many dramatic and exciting moments that made me want keep reading. I found myself reading every chance I got. I haven’t been this interested in a book in a long time. It will take a lot to match the excitement I had reading this book but I believe M.K. Parsons will write another fantastic book that I won’t want to put down. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone looking for a good book!

WOW! This is the second book to the Transient trilogy, which I happened to be obsessed with. These books are by far the best I've ever read. My favorite thing about these books would be the fact that you are always on the edge of your seat while reading. There are so many unexpected twists and turns you never want to set the book down. I love the feeling a reader experiences when you can picture yourself in the story, like it is currently happening. That is definitely the case with Paradox. You never see what is coming! M.K. Parsons really has true talent when it comes to including that aspect in her books.
This book is about one of the main characters, Levi Koenig, and his efforts to rebuild the town recently destroyed by his mother. There is only one problem; his heart is just not into it. Instead his heart is with his true love, Roxy. Will Levi be able to be reunited Roxy and successfully rebuild the city? You will have to read to find out! Paradox brings a sense of adventure, suspense, and romance to the reader! I would highly recommend this book. I already cannot wait for the third!

First I need to say the Transient series is one of my favorites and by fair Paradox is my favorite book at the moment. This sequel to Transient did not disappoint! The plot was amazingly written and the change in point of views was an awesome idea. I loved reading the book from Levi’s point of view, because it gave me better insight on what he was thinking, how some of his decisions were made, and his reactions to the situations around him. I love the character development in this book, like how Roxy is still the same Roxy but she matures more as the book goes on and you see that. Levi’s love and faithfulness towards Roxy is so admirable! I wish all boys were like Levi! I was shocked by all the by some of the things the author put in the story, they made me cry and they made we jump with excitement! Every page, every paragraph and every sentence makes me want to keep on reading! I could not put the book down. This book is best to discuss with all your friends because you get emotionally attached to the characters and the discussions get intense and exciting! I suggest any one how can to read the transient series! Its original and one of the best!

The second book in the Transient series is Paradox. The series is very good so far and is one of my new favorites. Paradox is written from the perspective of Levi who is the Governor of New York City. I really liked the fact that it was written from the perspective of Levi but at the beginning I thought I would hate it. It was really cool to get to see what Levi is thinking throughout the novel because in the first book of the series, you get to see what Roxy is thinking. The story takes place in 2076 but also alternates time as characters travel through the portal. One of the things that I enjoyed the most was the love story between Levi and Roxy, this is part of the reason that I enjoyed Levi's perspective. In the novel, you get to see the depth of Levi's feelings for Roxy and I think that this better helps you to understand the situation. I thought that the way George Washington and Nathan Hale were portrayed was interesting. It was cool to see how the author thought of them if she were in their time period. I would highly recommend that you read the Transient series, it does not disappoint!

I loved reading this book! I loved Transient and Paradox was an amazing continuation of the story! Levi is now governor and is trying to lead his city without Roxy by his side. She left at the end of Transient and hasn’t been heard from since. When Levi receives a message that leads him to believe that Roxy is in trouble he sets out to find her. This leads them on whirlwind adventure through the portal and into the Revolutionary War. They now have to find a way to solve the problems without changing the course of history. Levi is under a lot of pressure to be a good governor and try to protect Roxy as well. Roxy just wants to set things right and find a way around her growing feelings. This book is full of wonderful suspense and drama! definitely recommended!!

The second book in the Transient Trilogy, this YA novel is from the perspective of Levi, the appointed leader of New York City in 2076. This novel is full of action, drama, romance, humor, and enough twists to keep you glued. I hadn't experienced "book flood" in a while until I got to the last half of this book. I couldn't stop reading it and finished it in a day. It's worth picking up!!

Wow this book(being the second of a trilogy) wraps its story line around your mind to the point you don't want to stop reading. With it being the continuing saga of Levi, and Roxy's story its told through the eyes of Levi . I have to say the twists and turns that kicked in high gear half way through created a roller coaster ride I didn't want to get off leaving me wanting more .
