Very informative read. Blizard keeps the reader captured while diving deep into the workings of D-Day. Personally, I enjoyed reading the excerpts from entries and letters of the men who were there alongside the general facts. The time leading up to the day as well as a descriptive detailing of each of the landings comprises the book. Blizard does a good job showing how each event was needed and related to complete the whole picture. He does a wonderful job of going through the entire Normandy campaign and not just D-Day itself. Great read for someone who likes WWII or just wants to learn more about it.
