Fantastic resource, I'd go as far as to call it a must have. Written by a veterinarian who is also a rider, this book covers how to look after your endurance mount in refreshing detail. Scientific enough to be thorough and so well-written it can easily be understood by the casual reader. The book covers maintenance topics such as nutrition, hoof care and cooling strategies, as well as how to ensure your conditioning strategy is appropriate for the horse underneath you and how you might measure your progress. The whole section on athletic foot care I thought was particularly excellent.
Very glad I was unable to buy this in kindle form as was my original intent because I will be reopening this book many many times.
