SUMMARY: After a day exploring the jungle for the first time, Tiny Tiger dreams of the day when she will become a mighty tigress.
REVIEW: This book is a perfect read for toddlers/pre-schoolers who are interested in animals. My grandson is animal crazy and loved it. It is only 8 pages of reading with colorful illustrations that capture the essence of the story. There are just enough facts presented about the baby tiger for a young child to remember without overwhelming them. This book is one of a series of 12 books about a variety of baby animals in a wide range of habitats. I found the whole series at my local used bookstore and they are all like new. The back of the cover shows the tracks for all the animals which he also loved. Highly recommend these to animal addicted young children.

This book has illustrations of baby and adult tigers and provides a little bit of information through the short story on traits of tigers. Some of the things you can learn through the reading is that their stripes help hide them in the tall grass, they like to swim and they cuddle up to their mothers at nap time. This is a short, simple story to read alone for a beginning reader or together.
Tiny Tiger (At Home In The Jungle) by Jennifer Boudart is a wonderful book. This book chronicles the first day outdoors for Tiny Tiger and her two brothers. Beautiful illustrations by Krista Brauckmann-Towns.
