About the author

Jennifer Hayden was born in Washington State. During her childhood and young adult years, she spent many hours lost in the adventures of a good book. She began writing her own stories at the age of 12 when she "ran out of books to read at the library." By the time she graduated from high school, she already had a job as a secretary/office manager, where she eventually met her husband, Mike. For the next several years, she wrote in her spare time, sharing her manuscripts with friends and family. At the urging of two good friends, she decided to go for broke and leave her secretarial career behind in pursuit of this magical literary journey. She now has 54 books available.

“You’ve gotten yourself into love.”

Elle finds herself in a place she never expected. It’s bad enough that her husband cheated on her, but choosing the woman that destroyed her brothers life to cheat with was like an extra twist of the knife. Danny has watched his brother mistreat the woman he could never have. He’s made mistakes of his own and knows they’re not easily forgiven, so he tries to be the support she needs. When that friendship turns into more, will anyone be able to accept it? Super read! Awesome series! Enjoy!!!

None of the good stuff is on page,CIA cheating is referenced as having happened .We neither see nor hear any of the confrontation. The book began after she ran off to visit family .Frankly I am bored so choose to move on! No rating as I only read 30%

So good!

I love the Callahns!!! This is such a wonderful series and this book was another heart felt story. I love Danny and was so excited to get to know him in this book. Elle Callahan is sweet and strong but sometimes I wanted to strangle her. She makes assumptions before handling issues which leads to poor discussion making. Danny and Elle have a lot of baggage but their love for one another help them break down each other's walls. My suggestion: you could read this book first but in my opinion you should start with the first book. The Callahans are awesome and you should get to know them all. Well I am off to start reading book 4!!!

Aftershock

I really enjoyed this book . The one thing about this series is it does not have enough suspense. This is more a love story series . I did enjoy it tho.
