Halfway through her first year on the job, Melissa Montclair decides the best part of teaching is winter break.

And the best part of break is the Perfect Ten she meets in a bar on New Year’s Eve. Why not celebrate a semester under her belt with a Perfect Ten in her pants? The one night affair is all she hoped for, until she walks into school a week later and sees Mr. Ten is Student Twenty-nine on her roll call.

She should be mortified—and she is—but that doesn’t stop her from banging him again. And again.

And again.

So much for job security.

Posing as an exchange student at Hamilton High is finally the assignment Officer Spence Vega has been hoping for. Now he has a shot at getting to the bottom of the town’s recent molly epidemic. There’s only a couple of first, history is taught by the curvy bombshell he banged on New Year’s. Second, his growing suspicion is that she’s the dealer he’s looking for.

The job was supposed to be an easy in-and-out, not the teacher.

If only they could stop getting under the covers, staying undercover would be so much easier.

Oh my, I didn't know a book would be able to make me cringe, blush, laugh out loud, and my cheeks hurt from smiling so much.
UnderCovers is a hilarious and unique tale of two people who meet at the wrong time (ahem... bar... New Year's) but are perfect for each other. Melissa and Spence think they are out to have one good night, and then never see the other one again. Fate has other laughable ideas in place instead. Namely, a teacher who is mortified to find out the best sex of her life is now under her tutelage. Now, I know you may be thinking, what?!?! Trust me on this one though, Kayti McGee manages to pull off this storyline with class and cheesy pick-up lines with a deeper meaning behind it.
It's hard to believe that this is the author's first solo endeavor, I absolutely loved this book, and cannot wait for more!

Oh my Kayti McGee. I thought I knew you. Clearly, I did not! I always knew you were hilarious, and you make me laugh every single day, but I really had no idea how dirty you can be. You are one dirty dirty girl, and I love it!

I don’t even know where to start with this review! I just want to shout from the rooftops about how UnderCovers is the most perfect of perfectness, the funniest of the funny, and so fucking hot! I am in love with Spence and Melissa! Kayti McGee just nailed it. She has a real gift to create extremely likeable and relatable characters that you’ll fall in love with, and you may spend the next several days daydreaming about becoming their friends. Ahem.

If you’ve read the blurb you know this story is about a kickass, smart, sexy teacher, Melissa, who has the hottest sex of her life with a gorgeous funny guy on NYE. It’s meant to be a one-night stand. The best one night stand … until he shows up in her classroom… as a student! He’s an under cover cop and her horror at thinking she slept with a student was so damn funny. I really wanted to feel bad for her but I couldn’t because I was laughing too much! And as for Spence, the sexy hot gorgeous under cover cop? He is super swoon-worthy and delicious! I loved his sense of humor, his bedroom moves, his lack of Spanish language skills (“el gato”), and the way he was so earnest in cracking the drug case. He also has the caveman protective bit down pat and … just … sigh. He is just so dreamy! I love him and want to marry him!

To sum it up, UnderCovers is uproariously hilarious with hijinks that had me laughing out loud along with dirty hot sex scenes that left me squirming. I could totally visualize it all playing out on the big screen. Someone make this into a movie, stat!

Everyone needs to read this book! Go give it a 1-click right now! I think you’ll love it as much as I do!

And #HotPantsMcgee? I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!

4.5 Stars!

I adored this book. Kayti McGee delivers a book to her readers that is sexy, cute, sweet, quirky with a touch of suspense. This author is brand new to me and someone I will look for in the future. Told in dual point of view, Melissa and Spence will keep you on the edge of our seat until the end. And bonus, this book is a complete standalone with an ending that will have you smiling ear to ear.

This is Spence and Melissa's story. It was only supposed to be a one night stand. He is starting a new job assignment and she is headed back to the classroom. But when school is in sessions, these two are in for quite an unexpected surprise. She is the teacher and he is her new student. But not everything that meets the eye is as it seems. Spence has big secrets that could ruin and destroy everything.

These two were hot! From their first encounter, the tension and chemistry just rolled off of the pages. I laughed throughout this entire book as the banter was something that was fun. I really liked Melissa... and her internal thoughts.... and internal battles... she is going to have you laughing and smiling. And Spence is that kind of guy that makes you swoon. Get ready for a fun ride.

I highly recommend this book.

Him: "You have an incredible ability to see right through me. That's a little terrifying."

Her: "You have no idea."

Him: "Tell me what you like?" "I want to know." "What makes your toes curl and your voice fail?"

Her: "My----" "My pussy."

Him: "My pleasure."

There just so much wrong with that ^^^. Who the fuck says 'tell me what you like' to a one night stand? Bullshit nonsense. And then her answering, "my pussy." I just C-A-N-T ~

UnderCovers by Kayti McGee is your literary version of 21 Jump Street!!! In this off beat romantic comedy, Ms. McGee weaves humor, romance, and a bit of guess who. When Melissa Montclair meets Spence at a bar, they instantly hit it off and after all their flirty exchanges, a one night stand occurs. One night of hot passion where none of them exchanged last names or numbers. It was just to be one night. Well unfortunately for Melissa, her one night stand is sitting in her classroom.

photo 2f4e0e0e322fecd7ecccd9ea28eeb6_zpsrca6nhs8.gif “Kissing Spence is like eating chocolate cake: it's rich, delicious, and (if my wish comes true) goes straight to the thighs. Or rather, between my thighs.”

As with any sensible woman, Melissa goes through all the possible scenarios of how could her one night stand be a high school student. Her student. Her hot gorgeous student who knows his way around her lady bits. So of course, Melissa automatically thinks she is possible another Mary Kay Letourneau. Well what Melissa fails to recognize is that Spence is not 19 years old but just posing as high school student to discover who is behind the molly operations at the school. Oblivious to Spence undercover work, Melissa toys on the line as she fights her growing attraction to Spencer. How will Melissa react when she discovers that Spence is an undercover cop?

photo 2f4e0e0e322fecd7ecccd9ea28eeb6_zpsrca6nhs8.gif “I’m not that good of a liar. Spencer Vega is the sexiest man I’ve ever seen in my life, and the second his hands touch me, my nerves explode. I’m heady and I’m possibly slightly drunk and all I want, more than anything else, is to give in.”

UnderCovers is a light romantic comedy with a very predictable story line but what makes this book enjoyable are the personal thoughts of Spence and Melissa as they explore their sexual needs, desires, and attraction to one another. So if you are a fan of 21 Jump Street and reading about a hot cop under the covers then this book might be for you.

What did I just read? And no, not in a good way.
I had high hopes for this. Like really really high. And I was disappointed. I just thought it would be a mix of romance, funny moments and some drama along the way.
But I found no romance, little funny moments and zero drama , just Melissa overreacting 99% of the book.

I didn't find any connection between the characters. It was a flat book for me - if this term does even exist-.
I almost didn't finish it, but I decided to give it a shot.
Maybe, it wasn't my thing. I just don't know...

Good gravy! Kayti is one great, ZANY romance writer; plus, her mind is a very filthy place that will make a reader blush - Woot! This read is flat out hilariously silly and sexy sweet. If you liked Play, by Kylie Scott, Confessions of a Shopaholic, by Sophie Kinsella, or Wallbanger, by Alice Clayton, this one will be right up your alley. Throw in - what my husband claims is straight up legit - the calling upon of baseball statistics so Spencer can make Melissa the happiest of women, and you've got an entirely enjoyable way to spend several hours reading. In addition, OMG - the teacher humor; I cackled aloud quite often. Not saying I agree with ALL Melissa thinks about teaching, but I definitely could identify with a throat or junk punch fantasy. Also, if your funny bone is tickled easily, you might not want to read it with anyone sleeping in close proximity.

Overall, I rate it a 4.8/5 in romcom - only because the ending crashed in on me too soon, and it lacked the intensity of previous scenes. I'm greedy. I was reading along thinking - around 83% - We have a new possible player as the perp! and OMG! Kayti wouldn't do that, would she? (but please do that). Then, boom. Nope. A quickie end - hahaha. I still loved it. Terrific read. So freaking funny.

Review by Jen Skewes

Melissa is out with her best friend for New Year’s Eve and enjoying her current break from teaching her first year. She meets Spencer at the bar and sparks begin to fly. She noticed how hot he was when he first walked in the bar. And the minute he saw her, Spence went right for her. They enjoyed each other’s company, having the same sense of humor, and funny pick up lines. That lead to Spencer going home with Melissa for a hot night of passion. When morning came they parted ways with no exchange of phone numbers.

When the school break is over Melissa goes back to work only to find out that the unthinkable just happened. Spencer, her hot and sexy one night stand is a student. And not just any student, but her student. How could this be? How could this hot guy who knew how to please a women only be 19 years old? But the real question is how is Melissa supposed to teach this student and stay away from him at the same time?

Spencer has a secret, one that he wants to tell Melissa so badly but if he does it will ruin his ongoing investigation at the school. But that doesn’t stop him from wanting her and convincing he that the two of them should be together. But when his secret is revealed will she understand why he kept the truth from her?

This is the first book that I have read from this author. It was light, sweet and very comical. It had sexiness and a bit of romance as well. But for me personally it was missing something. I wanted more romance I think. This was fun and witty and definitely sexy but I just wanted a little more from these characters. Melissa could be a little frustrating at times with her inner thoughts, going back and forth as to what the right thing to do is. Spencer was funny and cute and I loved his pick up lines. They had a certain humor that the both of them shared which is what I loved about them. Overall a very enjoyable read.

i really enjoyed this book. It was hilariously funny. Imagine- experiencing a night of sexual bliss with a hot stranger, then seeing him as a student at the school you teach at! Horrifying! Spence is undercover but can't let Melissa know, so his only hope is to convince her he's over 18 so that there's a slim possibility that the bliss can continue. On top of that, there's the job he's working on and the horrible chance that she may be a suspect. At the same time, she's aware of the drug problem at the school but thinks that HE might be the culprit.
It's a mess, that's for sure. But it's written in a humorous way that had me laughing out loud. I just thought there was too much inner self dialogue. I found myself actually skipping pages of nothing but thoughts in their heads so that I could get to the actual story. Less thoughts would've made this a 5 star read for me, but that's just my opinion. The thoughts are funny, don't get me wrong...and other readers may feel like they could never get enough of them.
Melissa and Spence are undoubtedly hot together and those scenes were scrumptious! I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone who's a fan of romantic comedy and likes steamy love scenes.

A fun, flirty, and fabulous fire cracker of a comedy, Under Covers by Kayti McGee is a must-read romantic comedy that clutches you from the very first page. I loved every hot and humorous minute! This light, laughable, and lust-eliciting book is the perfect escape, a guilty pleasure, and a delicious date akin to decadent chocolate cake that’s oh-so sinfully good.

Snort-laugh. Swoon. Repeat. I alternated between giggling and gushing throughout this sweet and sexy story that definitely made me want to get Under Covers a few times with the swoon-a-licious hero.

On a girls’ night out (GNO), the oh-so-attractive and alluring teacher, Melissa Sinclair, meets the sinfully hot, Spencer Vega, at a bar on New Year’s Eve.

“The bar’s new occupant is tall as hell, maybe 6’3 or even 6’5, muscular in a way that says soccer player with dark hair brushed back, piercing eyes and the kind of stubble I would like to ride. Basically, he’s a dead ringer for my favorite baseball player, Eric Hosmer.”

With sexy Spencer being the doppelgänger of Eric Hosmer, I had to google the hot base baller. Oh yes, Spencer-Eric is perfect. Panty-melting hot. Pure perfection. This dirty talker and sex master. Gah or more like Ahhh!

“I’ve got plans, and every last one involves getting her naked. Not just naked. Naked and turned on and desperate for me.”

Yes please. I’m desperate as I clench and read with maybe a tiny moan.

“These guys that don’t do foreplay? Idiots, man. There’s nothing cooler in the world (and better for your ego) than a chick begging you for it, and knowing you’re the only one who can give her what she needs.”

Spencer is spot on. I’m sure he knows exactly which spots to hit too.

“Helps to have a big dick too.”

Big package? Sold. Sign me up for the Spencer Coaster too.

Spencer-Eric is so irresistible that I would so one-night stand with him. So I internally shout while maybe panging with jealousy, ‘Go girl,’ as Melissa takes a ride on the Spencer Coaster. They rung in the New Year with a party in their pants and oh-so-hot night under covers and against the wall, Melissa is mortified to see her one-night-stand man in her high school history class the next week as her new student. Holy major Mary Kay Tourneau moment!

“The new lease on my vagina was signed by a freaking student. I’m going to literally die right here. What an embarrassing obituary.”

The problem is that Spencer is just too damn irresistible--- hot looks, a witty personality, a dirty and magical mouth, and more---despite the fact that he’s Melissa’s student.

How could you not heat up and find humor in lusty and laughable lines like these?

“I can see us naked. Come with me.”

“Sex is like eating a gourmet meal, and there’s as much to be done with your eyes as with your stomach, or, in my case, my cock.”

Spencer can’t help having the hots for his teacher that could even be more than a physical thing. Melissa thinks he’s a student despite him doing a 21 Jump Street thing and posing as one to catch a drug ring. The struggle is real and Melissa may have to choose her job or her new boy toy-maybe boyfriend.

“One or two things is going through her mind. Either she knows full well I’m too old to be a student, and then I have to risk her blowing my cover, or she thinks she slept with ah student and is totally freaking out right about now. If that’s the case, she’s probably put in for a transfer. Neither of these is good for me, because I want to keep my cover. Also, I want to see her naked again. I finally understand the meaning of being caught between a rock and a hard place.”

Every woman needs to definitely go Under Covers, and cuddle up with this sweet, sexy, and snort-laughable story. If you love writing that is raw, riveting, rib-twisting, then this romantic comedy is the perfect book date for you.

This is a good book. The epilogue really intrigued me so much that I went right into it. The book was enjoyable and pretty funny. Both Hs used a lot of cheesy pick-up lines and jokes which was really lame and hilarious. The plot seemed a little unbelievable since the Hero was a 26-year-old cop disguised as a 19-year-old highschooler. The author did make the story more believable with her writing though.

SPOILERS!!!!

The story was about Melissa, a 25-year-old history teacher who had a one-night-stand with a Hot guy who turned up in her school in a school uniform when the terms started. Obviously Melissa freaked out that she apparently had sex with a student. Spencer, however, was not a student but an undercover cop who was investigating drug cases. The book was alternated between Melissa's and Spencer's POV. and the books told us a lot about what was going on in both of their heads which were very funny but also very long. In fact, most chapters was about Melissa and her dilemma in wanting to f*ck her student again and why she shouldn't. Same goes with Spencer and his thought about how he wanted to f*ck Melissa again. It was actually a little too much. Although It did worked for the book, I thought the book could use more description of Spencer doing his investigation or even more of other characters.

Melissa did go back for more and she and Spencer continued their 'affair'. In real world, I would prefer not to tolerate such relationships. Although I believed in love in all ages. When it happened to a partner who were still in teen, the adult counterpart just had much more experiences and responsibility to 'know better'. However, this was not reality so I was fine with Melissa' student-teacher relationship. (As long as the story was good and believable... if it was erotic, then the point was moot.) Both Hs was like sex addicts but their sex were truly HOT!! I was a little meh that they fell in love in the most annoying way... you know... 'I love you 'cause you give me the best sex of my life and I want more' kind of love.

description

but I don't know. I guessed it kinda worked for them.

description

I actually loved how Melissa and Spence were doing tough love. Mel did report Spence when she thought that he was a drug addict. Same goes with Spence who finally although reluctantly reported to his chief about the drugs found in the school, knowing Mel could have been arrested. He thought Mel was a drug dealer. I truly believed that Love was all about wanting the best of your love ones, even if it meant you had to teach and punish them to be good. So this was a major book point for me.

The book ended quite abruptly, although satisfying. I really hoped I could read more about them.

Is it fine to do a review that just has two words? And those two words are actually the same words?

Because if that is fine and totes acceptable then my review would be one of the following:

1. Real review - Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

2. Real review - Hot hot hot hot hot hot hot.

3. Real review - Teacher, teacher, teacher, teacher, teacher

4. Real review - Fuck, it I need to get beyond the word thing.

I have a personal aversion to books where the character has conversations with the reader. When I say aversion, what I should say is, I hate it. It makes me feel ill in the same way that the song Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick makes me want to barfffff. It really does. It works in UnderCovers although I guess it is more like the characters' inner dialogue than a conversation with the reader.

So who would guess that this lil ol book would make me full on giggle. Character convo with reader - worked bang on.

My major laughter incidents:

"If I ever thought she was honestly into someone, I'd back off faster than a cat surprised by a cucumber. (Google it.)"

"Are you wearing space pants?
Why? Because my ass is out of this world?
Because we are gonna rocket tonight."

"Damn girl, are you an F5 key? Because your ass is refreshing.
Are you a Windows update? Because not right now"

"Is your name Google?
No, why?
Because you're everything I've been searching for."

The struggle was real. Student/teacher. Good cop/bad cop. Hero/villain. Pot smoking/wine chugging.

Absolutely loved it.

Excerpt
I run my hands across the small of her back softly, swaying against her as she arches into me. We are dancing without music, a sexy tango of clothes and lips. (See what I did there? Tango. Oh wait, that’s Argentina. Never mind.) And soon she is standing in nothing but lace. I run my hands over the swells of her breasts and relish in her gasps and moans. She's wound tight, and I plan to play her like a violin. (That one works much better.) Her bra drops to the floor, and she stands flushed and unashamed before me.

My teacher. Goddamn. I am going to go home and sponsor two more orphans.

"Take off your panties," I order.

She hooks her thumbs into the elastic and spins in a slow circle, leading with her ass. Slowly, she slides them down, her shapely ass still in the air, and lifts one leg at a time, my own private strip show. All we’re missing are the glasses and the chaste updo. Although, truly, I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. She's totally bare, always a treat, and already I can remember her sweet taste on my tongue. I pick her up, and she wraps her legs around my waist, giggling as I spin her around. I set her on the island and kiss her cheeks, her neck, across her collarbone, and down to those tits I’ve been longing for.

Each nipple pebbles under the warmth of my tongue, like they were waiting for this very moment.

Like they were waiting for me. The two new orphans I promised to care for. She drops her head backwards and moans, encircling her arms around my neck. I secure her to me with my right arm and use my left hand to cup each breast as I adore it with my tongue. I can't stop thinking of what sheer perfection her body is. She smells like a honeycomb, tastes the same, and her skin is as soft as silk. Our bodies move together like they were made for one another, calibrated to the other exactly.

It's the most intimate moment I’ve ever shared with someone, and we haven’t even gotten to the sexing yet. I said I was riding a unicorn before, but this girl is a unicorn.

My cock begins to ache in anticipation, rising again to the challenge. I lay her down gently across the island, my own personal feast, and bend over her. I can’t stop my hips from moving as I kiss her again, and work my way back down her body. Past the delicious swells of her breasts, down the tight curves of her stomach, past her cunt smelling incredibly of her sex. I love on her legs and her calves, paying special attention to the tender skin behind her knees and on her upper thighs.

She growls playfully, wriggling her body each time my lips cross over the spot she wants me most, but I don't give in. Instead I give her a single long, slow lick down her blissfully pink pussy and return to her stomach, then back up to her breasts. Her nipples are tight nubs and I gently bite down on each.

"Tease," she breathes.

I only grin wickedly at her. After all, she’s the one who suggested that this last all evening.

"Lick me." She’s (impossibly) even sexier when she commands me.

"Only when you beg me." She might be my teacher, but I can show her a thing or two myself.

She shudders a little. "I never beg."

"Tonight you will."

I wanted to read UnderCovers as soon as I saw that it was written by Ms. McGee because I've read the books she's done with Laurelin Paige and absolutely loved them, so I was sure this would be good! And when I actually read the synopsis, I was even more excited for it. It was fantastic and I loved it from the moment I started it!

Melissa is such an awesome heroine! She's funny and sassy, passionate and warm, and she's smart and loves history - just like me although it's safe to say that she loves it way more than I do. It was so entertaining to be in her head, there was never a dull moment and I would totally be friends with someone like Melissa. She's super cool and I looooooved her!

Man, oh, man, Spencer is one HOT hero! He's definitely an alpha with all his dominant, teasing, possessive, dirty talking ways. Of course, I loved that about Spencer, but what really sold me was his personality and how funny he was. He's just as funny as Melissa and he was always making me laugh and sigh - I just never stood a chance against the guy! I absolutely, positively loved, loved, loved Spencer!!

Well, with a funny hero and heroine, it's a no brainer that UnderCovers itself is a funny book - I mean really, it's downright hilarious! It had me howling and shrieking with laughter and by then end of the book, my stomach hurt from laughing so much and granted that could have just been because I was hungry, but I don't think so. While UnderCovers is chock full of humor, it is also so HOT and trust me, you are going to have melted panties to go along with your melted heart! It is just beyond an excellent book and I wholeheartedly loved and enjoyed reading it!

UnderCovers is a standalone, it's told from Spencer and Melissa's POV, and they have an awesomely funny happily-ever-after ending!

Under Covers is a fun and short read. Melissa is a sexy and sassy high school teacher who is out with her bestie for New Year's Eve, when this gorgeous man walks into the bar. Now I know that sounds cliche and we have all probably heard this beginning before but, that beginning has never had the hot, sexy, Spencer Vega in it. And of course he and Melissa hit it off instantly which leads to a very steamy night.

Brushing it off as a one night stand, Melissa and Spence definitely did not see what happens next coming. Why on earth is Spence in the hallway at the high school Melissa teaches at with a book bag and wearing a Leatherman jacket talking with the other students????? His story, he is an foreign exchange student who is at the legal age of 18 but, still he is her student. So that means they can't see each other again, right?? Real story is Spence is an Undercover cop trying to bust a drug dealer who has been dealing drugs at the school. But he can't tell Melissa because what if she is the drug dealer he is trying to bust???

Kayti McGee takes you on a hilarious adventure with Melissa and Spence. I found myself laughing a lot. And can I just say that Melissa really surprised me at certain parts!! That woman definitely knows what she is doing when it comes to what she wants in and out of the bedroom. And Spence is just a gift wrapped up in a God like body who definitely knows what to do to get Melissa going. I give 4 stars for Kayti's debut solo novel and I can't wait to read more from her!!

Under Covers by Kayti McGee is a lighthearted romance with comedic elements. Melissa Montclair, newly employed high school history teacher, is enjoying her winter holiday. On New Years eve Melissa and her BFF go out for drinks and what happens in the bar - a perfect 10 of a man! Melissa says to hell with it and takes Mr. 10 home for a wicked one night stand. Spence Vega was the last person Melissa expected to see on the first day back after break. Posing as a student, Spence an undercover police officer, is trying to break a suspected drug ring within the school. Spence needs to keep his cover but damn he doesn't want to and can't give up Melissa either. When a sexual relationship turns into a emotional one built on half truths and lies can it last?

I enjoyed the story and the characters are lovable but I found the humor forced. The ending was really quick and left me unfulfilled. I expected a lovable comedy and I didn't get it but again I still enjoyed the story, it just might be being sold more as a comedy and it's not a laugh out loud style of book. Under Covers by Kayti McGee is a solid 3.75 read.

Reviewing on behalf of relentless book chic’s ramblings and reviews

This was one of the funniest books I’ve ever read, I laughed at almost every page. It’s not the typical teacher/student story you may be expecting.

Melissa is out in a bar on New Year ’s Eve with her friend Jane. The men aren’t up to their standards until a number 10 walks in, Spencer Vega.

Melissa is instantly attracted to him and after a fun night of flirting, she takes him home. It was supposed to be a one night stand but when she returns to work a week later, they come face to face in one of the worst ways possible, as teacher and student.

Spence is actually an undercover cop who is trying to get to the bottom of the recent molly issue in the town.

What follows are some hilarious situations(Melissa’s reaction to seeing him at the school is my favourite scene) and further encounters between the two as they both try their hardest to fight the building attraction but can’t seem to stop it.

Just as Spence thinks he has the case wrapped up, evidence arises that suggests his number one suspect may actually be Melissa.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves fun characters and romance with lots of humour.

By the end of the first chapter, I was completely in love with UnderCovers. Melissa's narration was full of quirky thoughts like:
"Have you ever noticed how many nurses smoke? I have a theory that they secretly have the cure for cancer and just aren't sharing it."

Then in the second chapter, POV switched to the hero, Spencer. It was typical dirty and cocky New Adult male narration. My elation fell a bit, but at least every second chapter would be great, right? Think again!
Because, honestly, the only good thing in this book was that first chapter. After that it all goes: sex-sex-sex-guilt-guilt-sex-sex-drug use-sex-sex-HEA.
Not funny or sexy at all. Character were immature and I could not believe they are 25-year-old.

Why one star?

First off, great cover design!

Ok, here's my thoughts...I think it started with a bang! I was about 17% in and had already sent a message to a fellow reader that it was really funny. I thought it was great, funny, silly, loving it - up until chapter seven (about 40%) then it just got a bit weird, a bit immature, and a whole lot of ick factor.
The H - The fact that he was 26 year old posing as a 19 year old, just made it unbelievable. The h - The fact that she willingly continued to sleep with a boy/man that she thought was her student just didn't fit in with comedy of the book. After that, it just went downhill for me. Everything happened quickly, then the book was over. The ending was rushed and abrupt. The book stopped at 88%. No epilogue. Just a look into another book.

I'm not giving up though. Like I said, I found it really entertaining at first. I would like to see what other comedic books this author can come up with.

I read this through the KU program.

Wow!

I loved it! It's so hot I squirmed and giggled like a little girl!

The pickup lines are awesome and I laughed so hard I snorted more than a few times! The inner dialogue Melissa has with herself cracked me up because I have those kinds of conversation with myself. And Spence, holy panty explosion! The things he did will make your toes curl and your heart beat fast! I am not going to lie, I was totally turned on!

This book really should come with a warning!

What would you do if your one night stand turned out to be your new student or your teacher. The way they reason their way through this was so funny I was laughing from beginning to end with Melissa and Spencer.
