The Forbys

Rate this book
Four women must work through personal and professional issues as they grapple with the accusation that one of their husbands slept with one of the women and possibly fathered a child. The themes of betrayal, love, and forgiveness permeate this novel, set against the stark and unforgiving background of the northeast corner of Vermont.

I enjoyed this book since I lived in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. I enjoyed the plot and the characters. Overall, the imagery of Lake Willboy and the surrounding area brought back beloved memories of that area and time in my life. My year at Lake Region was a special one. Great job, Sue! I wish you the best.
