Writing was Adam's hobby. The voices in his head are constantly battling to get out, often leaving him working on four or five different books at once. He can't help but write. When he discovered he was actually good at writing, it became a full time passion that often interrupts his full time gig Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Along with his writing addiction he has a serious caffeine addiction. Some nights, the only reason he stops writing and goes to sleep is for the fresh brewed coffee in the morning. Teaching English in China, there are serious challenges living in a rural seaside holiday resort to find good coffee.

As an Author, Adam Stevens skillfully writes with a relevant, compelling and believable ability to articulate the emotional context of each character. He will captivate and engage you, in an addictive manner that will make you yearn for the next paragraph, page, chapter, and book.

I absolutely loved this....... Yes Georgie is a lot younger in it and he's telling us his first sexual experiences, it gave me more of an insight as to what type of person he is, how he knew even then that girls just weren't for him. It was really well written and i'm so glad that i was able to read it xx

I absolutely love Georgie! I am so hooked on his journeys! I have to keep putting Georgie down and read other books because I feel like strangling him and hugging him so tight we both can not breath. I forget this is a book! I sure hope Georgie can find his happiness. I will be heart broken if he does not. Adam you rock!

It was great to see the backdrop to Georgie's early years. The kid had a difficult life but makes the best of it. To see how he explored his sexuality and discover who he truly is was quite a journey. I'm happy Adam wrote this book to give you insight on his beloved character Georgie.

3.5 stars.🌟 A prelude to Red the first in the series.
This is Georgie's life journey from the age of 10 years old. New freinds and experiences but not all good for him, his mother is a peice of work. A good start to the series yah definitely want to read the next one to see how it goes. Written as first person I'm reading more and more of these stories. Told as Georgie's view as his sexuality awakenings.

Have you ever wondered what it’s like for a curious young boy growing up with minimal parental care and attention apart from repeated abuse? I will admit that until I was drawn into Adam Stevens’ Rainbow Reader Series I hadn’t either.
However, after purchasing and reading the first half of the series—Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple—Mr Stevens gifted me with a copy of “Pink: The Secret Manuscript.” At first I was a little hesitant, but my need to discover what had shaped the main character, Georgie, into the young man he had become during the series won out.
Within a very short time, I was left with no doubt that the way Georgie moved through the world, and the decisions he made along the way, were directly influenced by his early life. His naturally innocent curiosity was in direct opposition to the treatment he received at home—either neglect, to the point of invisibility, or strangling control, leading to vicious beatings. My heart broke for the young boy who desperately wanted to be loved and understood by his family; and my soul cried out to the ones whose sole purpose should have been to love and nurture this bright and precious child, a child they truly didn’t deserve.
I know have a better understanding of why the character, Georgie, is the way he is—and why Adam wants to use the royalties from this series to provide a stable environment for young teens who are enduring a life that they don’t deserve.
My journey through Georgie’s world now continues with the Moments In Time Series of three novels, then back to re-join the Rainbow Readers with White, Gray, Black, Brown, and the final Silver and Gold to get the full story. Don’t be fooled into thinking that the list price for the paperback copy of Pink is a typo at $99.99, the proceeds from sales are being used as a direct fundraiser to help create the homeless youth ranch detailed in the series. This is your opportunity to help a worthwhile cause, and is currently the only format in which it is available.

This is the first book I'm reading by this author. So... I really didn't know what to expect as in writing style. So hoping for the best. I dived right in.

Right from the start I knew I was going to struggle with this book. It kind of felt like I was reading a self help book.
I wanted more of Georgie's story....not the advice he was telling.
And there was more advice than story.
I latched on to Lee's story. And that's what I was looking for.

The story really took off for me in chapter 2 The Moment Of Truth.
That's when I felt more connected to Georgie's story. Learning about him and his Journey to finding his true self.

Chapter 2 and on really saved this book for me. It grabbed my attention and reeled me in to reading the next book in this series.

I'm really interested in finding out how Raul and Georgie's story plays out.

On a side note...
One thing that didn't seem realistic to me was when Georgie was 11 he took a shower with his friends with their parents being ok with that. I have a 10 year old son and he's in fourth grade. So those kids would have had to been in 5th grade and below.
I'm sorry... But no.
I would never let my son take a shower with another kid. There's just no way. They are too old to be doing that.

WOW just WOW. I know as a kid you talk to your friends about your non experiences and then experiment...This book is a peek into that. Pretty great.
