Thackary Cuthbert Holmes prided himself on being a dastardly rake, a man not to be trifled with, and smarter than your average under-handed thieving villain. But then he came to America. Clear Creek, Oregon to be exact, where everything Thackary had ever known, changed. Over the next several years he was stripped of everything and every one, sinking so low he opened his arms to embrace his own death. But that wasn’t about to happen, not if the good people of Clear Creek had anything to say about it. For all the bad Thackary did, disguised as the drifter Cutty, he did almost nothing but good. So much that even the “almosts” had to give way to the good man he’d become. But when it came time to reveal who he was to not only his newly discovered children, but the whole town as well, he didn’t know what to do. If he kept his mouth shut, he’d never marry Imogene, the one woman who loved him for who he was at his core. If he told everyone, he risked losing everything, including his life. What will Cutty do?

Kit Morgan, aka Geralyn Beauchamp, has been writing for fun all of her life. When writing as Geralyn Beauchamp, her books are epic, adventurous, romantic fantasy at its best. When writing as Kit Morgan they are whimsical, fun, inspirational sweet and clean stories that depict a strong sense of family and community. 'His Prairie Princess' is the first of the Prairie Brides books and the first in the series of a long line of stories about Clear Creek, Oregon. One of the wackiest little towns in the old west! Get to know the townsfolk in Clear Creek and come sit a spell!

NOTE: Hi folks, it has come to my attention there is an erotica book floating around out there written under the name Kit Morgan. IT IS NOT MY BOOK! I do not, and never will, write in that genre.

We Finally Get the Story of Cutty

When the character of Thackeray Holmes first appears in this series, he is a nasty villain. But this author is very skillful at creating bad guys and then redeeming them. So when Cutty's character first revealed his true identity,I was hopeful that Cutty would have his story told. She did a wonderful job of creating Thackeray and evolving him into Cutty.

Cutty ❤️ Imogene

Cutty, a recipient of forgiveness from the Father, loves Imogene and she loves him. But before they marry Cutty must confess. Forgiveness is Divine flowing from the Father to his children on earth and flows freely in the town of Clear Creek. This is a cleansing story. Read it with tissues and something to hug.

Redemption and new beginnings

Cutty's story is so heartwarming, but also full of surprises. It creates as many questions as it answers, if not more. I can't wait to read what happens next for the people of Clear Creek and how the Indians and Awahnees for in.

I have read ask of the books in the prairie bride and groom series. I was glad to finally have some resolution with regards to Thackery Holmes and his dastardly deeds. This book brought closure to some parts of the series but left the reader with plenty of unsolved mysteries. I've read the first book in the Time Masters series, but can see I need to read more if I wasn't more information about Ammon any Newton.

So Kit Morgan is the author that I stumbled across last year that introduced me to the whole mail order bride/western historical romance/kindle book thing. I have loved everything that I've read by her and this is no different. You really can't go wrong reading any book by Kit Morgan.

Beautiful!

This was an amazing story full or emotion, love, and forgiveness. Cutty and Imogene have looked for love for years and now they have a chance at it with each other, but only the secrets being kept come to light.

This story has Ebenezer Scrooge overtones, but with more arduous trials than just seeing three different perspectives of life. Just goes to show what can happen when a man repents.
